i think that is a good title. i just wish they would tell us more about it. i can't wait for it to come out. i love the art work on the teaser and i'm sure the game will be GREAT! i would also like to have an aproxamate release date so i can save up for the game. i hate the waiting game but i think it will be worth it.i just hope this time the ending will look like some sort of ending so you don't have to wonder "is that the end or is there something i'm missing?"

Nope! The last word is they are still working on it. It sounds like the earliest would be early February, but that is just a guess on my part.

Has any one got all their Tech and 90 population but not finished the last puzzles? I have and realized that I did not designate a builder along the way.....is there a solution to
this or must I delete and start over?

Finally! My granddaughter and I are desperate to play the next chapter. Does anyone know if the first chapter wil be incorporated with the second? I hate to leave 'my people' just hanging out by the beach! (Is this a really dumb question with an obvious answer of "DUH!!!"?)

Man, that stinks. I was hoping to incorporate my people from my first game in to that one eventually... That would have been cooolllll....

Edit: Does anyone have an approximate date for the release yet? I know it was mid-February but does that mean like next week or the week after or what? It is driving me nuts logging in every day and seeing only 97% accomplished and no release date looming in the future....

The email I got from LDW last week said it would be a few weeks. I just figured that mid-February meant somewhere around the middle of next month.

That's another thing. I signed up for the newsletter but don't get any info regarding release dates for things, am I doing something wrong here???

When did you sign up? The email went out on 1/25. It's also possible that your email provider blocks email from LDW or puts it in bulk or junk folders - there are several that do.

I registered with 2 email addresses originally in september to cover the 'if it doesn't get through to 1 scenario' and have checked both spam and junk folders and nothing there. I have now registered all 3 of my email addresses (all with different providers) in the hope that something will get through! Whilst I'm not worried about missing the launch of VV2 as I've been checking the forums every day since the beginning of December. It does say register for the newsletter and get discounts of up to 25% for the games, which obviously I'll miss out on

Have you also signed up for notification specifically about the release of Virtual Villagers: The Lost Children? I believe that the discount offers and notifications are sent to that list of people, rather than the newsletter mailing list, based on Arthur's comment in this post.

There is a difference between signing up for the newsletter, and signing up for specific game notifications on the Previews Page. If you want to make sure that you're notified of the release of the new Virtual Villagers game, you should sign up on the Previews Page. If you already have done that and didn't receive the email that was sent out, you should sign up again. Something may have gone wrong in processing your previous request.

You should look at my last few posts about the signups. There are two different lists. Also, check out Arthur's post that I linked to earlier in this thread (about 5 posts up from here). It answers your question about discounts.

The emails are only sent out periodically (we don't like to spam people), and only by a real human. If you miss a mailing, signing up again will only help for future mailings.
