For everyone who has been patiently (or impatiently) waiting for VV3 to be available for iPhone and iPod touch, you will be very happy to know that the game has gone live on the iTunes App Store as of today. This is the same game as the desktop versions (Windows and Mac), with the exception that the population limits are lower than in the desktop versions (but higher than they are in VV2).

It is time for another LDW contest! In this contest, we would like to see you come up with a new fabulous costume for your favorite villagers. This time the contest will be before the game is released so that the prize can make it in the new chapter of Virtual Villagers! That's right! The top three costumes will be given to our artist Matt who will render them and then we will insert them in VV4!
How to participate:
- Make your own drawing of a costume you would like to see in the next chapter of Virtual Villagers. - Costume can be for a male or a female. We will judge only the costume, not the hair style. - You can use pencil, crayon, ink, photoshop, etc - Attach your drawing to this thread. Instructions on how to do this are posted HERE. - Please follow all LDW forum rules and posting guidelines.
Rules for the contest:
- You may submit up to 3 entries. If you should submit more than three costumes, anything after the third one will not be considered and may be removed from the contest. So choose wisely. - The contest will end at 12:01 AM, PDT, on August 5, 2009. - All entries will be judged by the LDW staff members and the winners will be announced on or before August 9, 2009.
