hi!

i have 3 questions for you:

1) what's the use of totems? do they really have any function apart from island decoration?

2) do esteemed elders have any special function too?

3) what's the maximum number of huts one can build? i'm finding it strange my population has been growing a lot, but no new huts are available for construction... doesn't make sense that 30 people fit in the same huts as 100 \:D

1) Yes, there is a special use for one of the totems, but can't say any more than that ;\)

2) Esteemed elders have no special function other that gaining totems (and the feeling of satisfaction)

3) The game will decide when it is time for you to build a new hut.

[TO REVEAL SPOILER: begin highlighting here]

Other than for getting the gong piece from the mosaic, I think the totems are just what they appear to be - a way to honor hard working villagers.

SPOILER ALERT! The information above might spoil the game for those people reading this thread who are inspired to find the solutions for themselves. For this reason it is written in the same color as the background. if you wish to view this text, click and hold the main mouse button, and drag your mouse over the empty appearing space above, starting from the TOP (to avoid inadvertently clicking on the hidden hyperlinks at the bottom). This will highlight the text, making it visible. Thank you!

Yes, villagers can walk through totems that are in their way.
