Has anyone made a master doctor? Is it possible by taking them to the herbs over and over? I can't seem to get past adept...in either of my tribes (I have 2 going). Also, if you have made an elder, what were the 3 things they mastered in?

Building, Research and Farming. I have tried to make a Master Doctor and not got there even though I started when she was two. I haven't really looked into taking someone over to herbs over and over again yet... It would be nice to find out if there was a similar herb like the Medical Catus or whatever it was.

I have tried making people sick by using one of the stews and then you can make a doctor progress quicker. This does seem a bit mean, but no harm comes to them in the long run.
I have a few elders who mastered building, farming and research. One I got to a master parent. Two of my elders didn't master building and there was nothing else to build, so I just kept dropping them onto a hut so that they fixed the hut and got master status this way. It was very tedious, but they were obviously close to becoming masters.

That's a good idea Carol re: the stew UPDATE: Hehehehehahahahah I made a "Sick Stew" and then I accidently made a different stew and instead of making them sick, it just weakened them and took off all their health! OOps. Heheh

All of the herbs work the same as the medical cactus. As long as you aren't in the process of making a stew.

My first triple master was a master a Builder, Scientist, and Doctor. He picked up the first 2 quickly, and getting the doctoring mastered wasn't really all that difficult. I would drop him on one of the plants, then go through my numberpad and look for collectibles and mushrooms while he was studying it. Then i'd drop him again and make another round. I also made the "sick stew" and made everyone sick, then had him heal them all. Took 3 stews to get him to be a Master, but it worked.

I'll try the drop & look approach. I have one who's an adept doctor...I'd really like a master doctor. (Sadly, I'm still waiting for my first triple player...he's a master scientist & builder, but has been an adept farmer FOREVER!)

Oh the ethics of making people sick on purpose just to heal them I think Arthur and the Team are actually Human Development, Culture and Society Studies Scientist and they're checking how everyone plays the game and seeing what choices and lenghts they'll go to. Like they say, the end justiies the means, right? Right?? It's a good thing this IS only a game.

The best way to get a master doc for me is to let the fire go out. No work on my part, let the Doc earn his masters!!

I don't make 'em sick. I haven't figured out how to do that. Sometimes the stews don't turn out so great (they're "nasty"), so I don't make them eat it. But I've been dragging my adept doctor all over the place....
Oh, and I finally have an elder! woo hoo!

I made a couple master dr.s in VV1, one I checked the box to make the villager concentrate on healing skills.

All of the plants works like the medical cactus in VV1... just keep dropping your doctor on any plant over and over.. it takes a while but you can get there... and if you wanna speed it up concoct a "sick stew". The more they heal the faster they progress. And speaking of stews.... is there a stew of youth?

I'm having a really hard time getting master builders. My population has risen....but no huts have appeared to start building. It's frustrating when there is nothing to build! I keep dragging them to the huts to have them fix them, but that only lasts for so long. I've dragged them to various spots on the island too, but nothing. Any suggestions?

How many puzzles have you completed? There are several large projects in the game that will provide opportunities for training builders.

Well then it sounds like you have more building projects ahead. But even if you don't, it is not to hard to get builders to master status just by fixing the huts you already have. I've got 6 master builders in my current game in which they only had huts to repair.
So keep plugging along, you'll get'm!

It takes approximately 3 of thier years at 2x Speed to make a Master Doctor from nothing, this is if you take them from herb to herb and after they have acheived mastery in 2 other areas.
