Everyone here has been so supportive and caring, both publicly and privately. I really appreciate it. As many of you have said, Mysti can never be replaced and I will always love and miss the special place she had in my life. It's still hard to think of her or talk about her without crying, but life goes on and I try to focus on the wonderful times that she spent with us.

Not long ago, my husband started looking for a special puppy for us, and we now have a new family member, Maggie. She is so full of energy and is the softest thing you can imagine. I'm sure that she will, like Mysti, bring us many years of happiness in her own way. I took a picture of her in our yard yesterday for all of you to see:
