Actually, there is a villager action of "teaching", but I've only seen them teach in front of the school once in maybe 25 times. Sometimes it's over by the rose/herb thing, sometimes in between the berry bush and the lagoon. Weird, I agree, so I'm usually saying at that point, "No wonder none of you are smart, you're being taught by Idowu, the idiot who can't figure out how to fish", or "Hey, teach the kids, not these other morons! Then maybe one generation will actually accomplish something...!"

MAYBE the reason the adults are OCD about laundry is because as kids, they had to relieve themselves in the "strange, dead flowers" and no one would let them change their clothes? Poor, wayward youth of Isola.
