Maid service is available for purchase from the Special Upgrade section. Your little people will never have to pick up a wrapper, sock or clean a dirt smudge ever, unless you want them to.
It seems to be limited to the wrappers, socks, and smudges, though. I hired the maid, and my people still make the bed, dust the furniture, do the laundry, and do all kinds of cleaning actions. They seem not to be aware that they HAVE a maid.
