Your game was likely affected by an iTunes bug that has serious consequences for the real-time engine in Fish Tycoon. The game relies on an accurate system clock in order to function properly. There is a bug in iTunes that sets the iPod's date and/or time incorrectly when the device is synced. As far as we can determine, this bug only occurs in the Windows version of iTunes (which, unfortunately, is the majority of users). If the clock is set backwards in time, all of the fish will usually disappear, and the game may behave erratically after that.

To avoid having Fish Tycoon affected by this bug, always make sure that your iPod is set to the correct date and time before launching the game. We are looking into ways to minimize the effect of this bug on Fish Tycoon.
