Obi

Obi was born August 7 to Tamil and Rapa. He was born on the West Side district of Isola. In the beginning, there were only 2 adults. As time went on and they realized the need for their own preservation as a tribe, women put their own person values aside and in frantic desperation would look to any male for conception. By the time Obi came along, people were trying to put family units back together. This prompted Rapa to find out who Obi's real father was.

She was not sure who the father was so she went on the "Maury Polefish Show". Here, through an involved process and elimination of factors, determined that Tamil was in fact Obi's father.

Obi grew up doing the normal kid things. He liked playing tag with all the other kids. He was proficient at picking mushrooms and had a keen eye for things the Scientist could use.

He seemed intent on picking coconuts but was just never adept enough to climb the tall coconut trees.

When Obi was old enough, he was taken by a beautiful blonde girl by the name of Yucca. Obi and Yucca dated for a short time. Their relationship ended when he realized Yucca had a very assertive personality and demanded things from him that he didn't really want to do. Obi was the adventurous type and was into making the Island Tribe survive and prosper but all Yucca wanted to do was make frequent trips to the "Love Shack".

Some time later he and his friend, Salak, were playing at the ancient mosaic when Obi discovered a strange power. It was able to teleport. Obi, being the adventurous type, tried it out. When he "reappeared", he was on the mainland and in the middle of civilization. When he came back to the island he wanted Salak to try it out but Salak was much too afraid to try it and the two vowed never to mention this to anyone.

Obi made several trips to the mainland but always returned to Isola. Civilization was too much for this islander to stay but Obi found the mainland exciting all the same. He found a great new sport that thrilled him. Skateboarding.

This sport gave Obi a sense of freedom. He found he was in love with speed. The faster he could go the more he loved it.

One day on his adventures to the mainland he found the top-secret headquarters to a place called "Last Day of Work". He understood that this place was responsible for the creation of Isola. He wanted there to be more for his tribe. He wanted to know what was out beyond the gong, beyond the sewing shack and the waterfall. His people were growing restless and somewhat bored with their little section of paradise. Because of this he decided to picket LDW and demand more.

Obi never got a direct answer to his demands but he did get some cookies and milk.
