Population is now 91. More than 50 are kids.

you call that a problem. lol I was once down to 3 kids and when a collectable appeared by the time I found on of the kids it was gone. My island is maxed out with 105 villagers and there are a bunch of kids so when my last pepple shows up I can quickly grab a kid to collect it. lol

yep - been there, done that too...
saw my second-last shell - and NO kids...just a few hours ago.
The semi-problem now is - the screen is so busy get distracted.

If you make sure you don't have any parent's skills checked they won't mate on their own. I had a lot too while I was working on making some master parents but I found that if I kept one of the parents always teaching the kids it kept them out of my hair and I knew where to find them for a collectible.

It did spring from working on Master Parents - still didn't get one.
Once you get so many people, it's hard to feel personally involved with them or even know all their names anymore,I find.
Just saying.


K - called them to school, they swarmed in then suddenly half of them started jumping up and down.

Be careful, though -- sometimes if a villager is really good at a skill, they'll do that job in their "off" time rather than the one they are supposed to be doing.

I've had adept parents breed on their own even if they had another skill checked -- if you really don't want more villagers, the best way is to prevent villagers from getting parenting skill altogether (so they'll never try it on their own).
