The only thing that will cause the food to grow is time. Have you checked the berry bush to see if any berries have regrown? That can help a little. You don't say how many villagers you have, but this kind of problem with food usually happens when you grow your population too much at the beginning of the game. They are eating too much food too quickly.

The dead flower field doesn't produce food. There are 3 sources of food in the game. You can tap the "Info" button on the Village Tech screen, with Harvesting selected, to find out about the types of food. There is a lot of discussion on the forum about the food and how to make sure you have enough for your village (including one earlier in this topic).

I have read half of this forum...
So that means there is nothing I can do? Will it help if I keep sending lets say 4 farmers watering the field again and again and I have only to wait if something happens?
The berry bush is giving still some food, but it has only one berry on it and I dont know how long it will last.

Sometimes your villagers don't like certain others! I had a village that wouldn't breed unless the PDA was turned off. I would wake up and have a sea of babies...
Keep on them and eventually, you'll get more babies.

Anonymous 1, The farm always does come back....you just have to keep waiting and trying. I usually set some of my villagers to keep foraging on the bush, so at least they have some food to eat. As long as there is a berry on the bush, it does seem to last for quite a while

anonymous 2, as tigger said, some villagers don't like others. Try changing the partners, make sure you have enough food for them to not be worried about food, but yes, it is not always easy at the lower levels to create a baby (sometimes it is though......isn't that just like real life!!)
