I think it might be complicated to program, but what if you could “Teach” your villagers to stay away from certain place (e.g. Lagoon) by dragging them away from that place.
If the same villagers happen to go to Lagoon again, repeat.
Villagers will “Know” that s/he can’t go to Lagoon, so they stay away from it, until you dropped that villager on Lagoon

How about a segue where the Mother Ship comes down and scoops up some VV kids to another planet where a new story line can evolve with the VVers trying (over generations) to get back to Earth?

I've tried that "Escape" game too and I must say that LDW's games are far better. I for one, hate those mini-games. But without them, the tribe takes too long to gain points. So since a VV-like game WITH the mini-games already exists (for all of you who simply adore the matching or the word search or the run-around-serving-customers, etc.), why make another? Do we want ALL our games to be exactly alike? Of course not! So I vote for keeping the present sort of format in the VV games for those of us who prefer it as is. If I find mini-games in the demo of VV3, I won't be playing for long and certainly I won't buying the full version.

Ah, I for one would not care for a battle scence amoung the tribes. I would like to see to see all of the island tribes reunite, a family reunion, but battling, no.

yea i agree about escape. it is fun, and i have beat it a few times, but it is not as fun as VV. i especially dont like that it only runs when you are watching it. yes there are some mini games, but mostly i would do something else while waiting for things to get done. i really like Westward II though... its so much better than the first one.

i like the escape game too but it gets annoying
