One of my children asked if they were committing suicide when they jumped from the ledge because I was working them too hard. I just started laughing and couldn't stop. She is 10 years old. I have also said you can eat when you're finished your job. And: You don't need to eat you look perfectly well to me. Sometimes when you say something to them they just look at you then say "why are you looking at me like that". Sometimes it gets a little eery but fun.
