So... I was busy putting builders on the rock that was being chisled and there was a group of kiddies dancing near by when a mushroom popped up right there!

I "forgot" to put the game on PAUSE to get multiple mushrooms, and just started picking kids and putting them on the 'shroom. Imagine my surprise when four kids all managed to pick the same 'shroom! Repeat, this was not in PAUSE mode!

So multiple mushrooms are possible (without "cheating") you just need to be very lucky and fast to do so!

I've gotten 3 that way before. Although more often than not I mess it up and make the second one drop the mushies when I'm trying to get the third to pick it.

Yea you can do that, but you wont get nearly as many because ones the first kid totally picks it up it dissappears to 3 or 4 maybe at max, much more effect in pause.

I do pause it if the mushies are near the school house. If they are up near the cactus though, I just grab the nearest kids and toss them on.

From what I observed though, the mushie is still in play as long as any kid is picking it.

Yeah, once the kid starts moving with it, adding another kid can cuase the first to drop it. The Pause feature is much more effective, especially for the villages that are short on food, but for those with no worries, this could be new challange for people who have gotten a little bored.

if there is only 2 food left and you let 10 guys harvest the food, everyone drops 7 food into the food-bin

Yeah, I've been doing that a lot, especially for early stages of a village when food isn't unlimited.

The trick there is that as long as the crops show something to be harvested, another villager can be set to collect some more crops. But if they fail or drop it, it is lost.

So if I plan on getting those extra bits of harvesting, I'll make sure that there is only one penultimate farmer so that everyone can harvest at the end.
