Well...

Tic tac toe: it helps to control the center and a corner.
Sudoku: remember if two numbers can fit only in the same two squares of a 3x3 interior square, the other numbers are ruled out by exception.

Oh, you meant puzzles in this game. If you start with a list of puzzles and their solutions, your gameplay will be reduced to dragging villagers around trying to perfect their skills, and watching ads to earn lavastones. Money can buy you out of the second but not the first. Anyway, it's a boring game if you eliminate the puzzles, since it is a puzzle game.

Give it a try, and ask for a hint, rather than a solution, when you get stuck. It's really a fun game!

I agree with Aviatrix. It's fun!

Drag villagers sloooowly around the screen and see what they interests them. If you find something, drop them on it and see what they say
They'll usually at least give a hint.

Is that Marge Simpson or Lisa? I know their names but have seen maybe 2 episodes of the show.

Back on topic: here's a general hint that comes in VERY handy. If you're not sure what to do, drop a villager on the crafting hut and see what is available for them to work with.

Another tactic I favor is reincarnation of deceased villagers. Others feel it is not worth the lavastones. They keep their learned skills when reincarnated, and for that I'll watch 20 videos.

P.S. I found I can only handle about 20 villagers at a time (ymmv), and today for the first time all my villagers are Master Gatherers!

I have always loved to figure out what to do and develop new strategies in VV games.
I did an IAP or two in my VVO2, paused the village and deleted the game. Because i am very busy nowadays, but i cannot wait to have spare time and solve some mystery.

Very apart from the topic, that is great to see a member registered in 2005 is still active. You're their beloved customer shocked

Well when something works well for you, you keep using it! These games have kept me amused for (obviously!) 12 years and I'm still playing!

PS your English is really good

Me too, aoh, but only 10 years. And to the OP, if you use Facebook, search for Virtual Village Origin 2 Help.
