Hi guys! I have a question...
What happens if nobody becomes mayor after the current one retires? I completely forgot to call the adoption lady for days, only checking in to water the flowers and pick up some trash, and now my current mayor is almost 60 (53 now) and has no kid to succeed him. I called the adoption lady but I don't think he can wait until morning... What do I do? smirk

You just pick a new one like you did when you first started playing. I like it better, I've stopped adopting unless a really good kid comes along.

I just started playing this game about four days ago, but after playing VF and VF2, I figured that's what would happen and had already decided that's what I was going to do also.

Oh that's good, I wasn't sure what would happen but I thought that was the case. Thanks!

But what about the training the child goes through? Does that make him/her more efficient as mayor? Able to earn more money per tasks as an experienced worker vs. newbie? Are there any benefits/advantages to having trained a mayor? If not then, really it would be better to leave the town without an heir, but that means having had to put up with that constant shadow was a bother for nothing, lol.

I haven't noticed a difference. My untrained mayors seem to get paid the same and receive the same gifts.
