Question about list....
Are the greenmoss peacock and bluemorpho butterflies similar to mantis in that they generally only hang around one certain plant ? Those are the only 2 i have left to find.....

I found the easiest way to get both of those was to wait until a peep asked for them as a favor. I've seen them flitting around other times since then but I'm pretty sure my initial catch (i.e. museum specimen) for both was cheating a peep out of what I said I'd get for them.

I'm not sure they prefer one type of flower. My memory impression of them is in flight, going from one flower bed to another one.

Here is a PDF Spreadsheet of various observations & collections I've compiled. If you scroll to the bottom of the PDF, you'll find a list of insects, their habits/habitats, monetary value in the general store & other information.

I'm looking for that pesky critter too! In the mean time below is an updated copy of my PDF compilation:

Unlike snails, banana slugs have no shell and must hang out in moist, even wet, conditions. Hint hint.

Someone posted this screenshot to the FB group a while back. The banana slug is is in the bottom left-hand corner of the Storage.

NOTE: This was before the most recent update so the bumble bee, for example, looks a little different now.

Thank you @arnie! I will update my PDF. I have caught many of the critters & donated them to the museum but didn't start taking screenshots of them until recently & the museum doesn't make for a good screenshot. (Kinda wish the insects in that screenshot were labeled, I don't recognize these:

In Inventory:
Right 2 top row
Right 5 top row
Right 6 top row
Right 5 Down 2 (Julia butterfly?)
Right 3 Down 4
Right 4 Down 4

In Storage:
Right 3 Down 4
Right 3 Down 5 (Is that the worm?)
Right 4 Down 5 (Inchworm?)
Right 5 Down 5 (Catterpiller?)

Just click on the glass display and it will tell all about the insect and tell what kind it is.
They're not in the same order for everyone, they're divided into sections, and within each section I think it's by the order in which they're caught.
