And can anyone advice me how I can ever prevent trashes from appearing in the morning?

Buying stuff for the town worked for me, I bought the spike fountain and some clock streetlights (I love that they tell the real time and I can keep track in-game!) and a bench, and my town beauty went way up.

You probably can't stop trash from appearing completely, but you can lessen it by buying lots of trash cans from the town hall and placing them around the town where the most trash usually spawns.

Do they actual use the trash cans? I haven't really noticed but that would be great.

It was in an update a week or so ago, so make sure you have the latest version. When you start the game the first time daily you'll find some of the cans have trash in them if they're close to spots where it usually appears, and the immediate area will be clear. You won't actually see anyone putting anything in them, though.

BTW, I think only the metal ones work like this - I have a square wooden one as well and it's always empty.

That version is available only on Google Play at the moment. It was accidentally released last week, and there are problems with the flowers that we're trying to fix before we send it out to everyone. Even though it's nice to have the trash go into the bins, there are other not-nice things going on in that version.
