You know how you get the single tip when you turn your game on? Today it said something like: Need help? Get the townspeople to help you. Not an exact quote, but something like that. I wonder what they meant by that. My townspeople are quite rude and I'm always worried that if I stop and talk to them when they're not looking for something, that my friendship meter may go down!

I believe they are talking about the beautiful town ordinance that cost $750 where the peeps will help in keeping the town clean. I have it and my mayor has to pick up litter, cut grass, et., but maybe there would be more litter without the ordinance.

Perhaps there is a connection between the ordinance and the peeps requesting shovels, machete. To be fair, I have seen a peep actually pull a weed.

P.S. I talk to them all the time and I have not seen any impact to their beauty meter, it only goes up after I have completed a task for them.

Most of my villagers are quite rude so I don't talk to them very much. I had a question about the link between their love meter and their quests. I know it goes up if you successfully do a quest. Does it go down if you accept a quest but never complete it?
