I don't exactly know why the townsfolk are vegetarians, it's just how they designed the game.

You probably don't want my theory on the vegetarian diet, but it starts with, "Have you ever noticed there are no children in town other than your adoptee?" and quickly goes all Johnathan Swift.

Is that why the adoptee comes from another town. Also everyone is single so far. I noticed that some of the adoptee mayor stats noted that their luck was love...hmmm.

What it meant by having 'love' as their luck might mean they get theif luck from people becoming their bestie. On the other hand, the luck of 'friendship' probably comes from the meters when you chat to the townsfolk getting filled up.
