I have been playing plant tycoon for a while and I was wondering how many different breeds of plants there are in the game. At the moment I have breeded 473 different types.

Wow that's a lot!

I have no idea how many there are total >.< Wish I knew. I could probably count them in my "matrix" (A memo document many pages long O.o) but it would take hours, and I've restarted my game several times so even though I might have bred them all, I don't know the total >.< Sorry

are you sure it's breeds, not seeds planted?

I only have 101 breeds recorded on mine... although I'm only halfway through the game or so

I have this black bomb seed that wont plant? any reason why?
it just sits on top of the flower pot.
got all the magic plants except berries of wealth.

Another person reported a similar problem, and it appeared to be due to some sort of corruption of the savegame file. You could try deleting the seed, or waiting to see if it can be planted later. If your experience is like hers, and your savegame file is actually corrupted, other bad things will start to happen (and then you'll have to start a new game).

Barbara is exactly correct. That'a pretty rare bug, I have to say.

When you release it, does it just sit there on the plant? Is it gone then, or still in your seedbox also?

We do have a dev code to force delete of all the plants that you are growing, but generally when that is useful the save file is already corrupt.
