How do I clean off table after a meal? On virtual family 2?

You can drop a family member nearby, repeatedly (it might take a while), until their action says "clearing the table". If you praise them for it, they may remember that you like that, and they may initiate that action more often.

If you'd rather not do that, you can close the game via the multi-task bar, and the table will clear itself. You can then re-open the game and continue playing. To completely close the game, perform the following procedure:

- For iOS 4.x and higher, access the multi-task bar by double-tapping the Home button. Press and hold the Virtual Families 2: Our Dream House icon until you see a badge with a dash appear in the upper left corner of the icon. Tap the red badge and the game will close.

You have to wait until they do it themselves.
