My husband works on his career but hasn't earned any money and has no progress in his status bar. Still a beginner pasta maker. His wife has worked about the same and her bar is halfway full. Is this a glitch? Thanks for any help!

This is most likely a glitch in the game. We are investigating, but, unfortunately, we don't have an answer for you yet. We really appreciate your patience while we look into the cause.

Thanks, Barbara! Actually, it remedied itself. I closed the game and just went back in after being off for about an hour and now he's where he should be. Hooray!!

We have determined that this glitch seems to occur only when the game is actually running (and you're keeping an eye on things LOL). When the game is off (or you use Time Warp), the peeps' ability to earn money operates more normally, since different parts of the programming are involved. Also, purchasing a career upgrade from the store can make things start working properly again when the game is running. It's a tricky bug, but we'll figure it out!
