I got some requests on Facebook to join a friend in playing, so I assumed that meant an online version of VV had been developed but upon accepting the request, it kind of randomly selected about 50-60 of my facebook friends & wanted me to just send them out a request to play.
Naturally, I chose cancel for the sending out requests thing & then it just kind of took me to an ad for one of the games.

So what is the deal? Is it playable online? Is it playable but I'd have to agree to bug people with requests? Or was that some kind of promo thing? Or was it maybe from a 3rd party publisher or whatever you call it? You know, like one of the sites that host lots of games made by lots of developers.

We have a Facebook section for Virtual Villagers. As you'll see from the following post, Virtual Villagers Facebook has been removed for quite some time (over 2 years ago) and is no longer available to play.
