This is just a small little bug I noticed, Seems like it only appeared when I finally unblocked the lagoon. It's like the lagoon picture is not properly aligned with the rest of the map.



The arrows show the thin black line, It's more visible on the left side however it goes around the entire lagoon like a box.

The iOS version of the game uses the same source images that were used in the original Virtual Villagers game (which is over 6 years old). The original game and the iOS versions are different image resolutions, and the completed lagoon image doesn't blend perfectly with the background map on iOS devices. As you said, it's minor and really doesn't affect game play.
