My virtual villagers 4 sometimes automatically exits and it says: Virtual Villagers4.exe stopped working...

My question is...
...how will you stop that case?

(Thanks for those who can answer my question)

Ian, do you know about PM's? Find one of the Mod's (written in blueor green. Let them know what kind of computer you have, what you're running (XP, Vista, Mac) and any other info that might help them solve the problem. They support team here is GREAT!

LadyCFII's edit: Please do not send a private message to a moderator or admin to ask for game help or support. That does 2 things:
  1. It hides the help we provide from all other forum members, so it only one person can ever see it
  2. It greatly increases the workload for us and prevents us from helping everyone quickly.

If your issue does not involve personally identifiable information (such as game orders or crash reports), you should post it here in the forum, where our answer will help many people. Thanks, eveyone!

Windows Vista and Windows 7 have a security feature, called Data Execution Prevention (DEP) that can interfere with a program's ability to run. You can find out about that problem and how to correct it in my advice to a Windows 7 user here in the Technical Issues forum.
