My first tribe got really big and I couldn't tell who from who anymore so I started a new tribe and forgot to pause the other ... When I got back to the old tribe I didn't see my oldest villagers Femme and Olaf anymore so I clicked at the mausoleum and saw they had died ofcourse each at a very very high age ... Olaf had reached the age of 90 and Femme 96!! I cried and never want to leave my tribe again

Wow, that is old, maybe the possibility of someone living to 100 really is there!

Anyone have the secret on how to keep them going to age 100? Is there a way? or just "chance"?

JackiDance: My experience in the VV series is that from of the moment you have full medical-skill and the longer and healthier your tribe thrives, the villagers start getting older and older, hundred however I've never seen myself but I think it must be possible ... Good Luck

For aging people, any idea if... making the health stew helps them live longer? My oldest guy's health was slowly going down, and I keep giving him that stew to bring it up. Or is that just coincidence?

I know that Mbee, but will it keep older ones from dying if you're diligent and use it on them constantly?

I don't think so, my peeps healthbars are always full and yet they die when they die. Of course they have a better chance of reaching a higher age with a full bar though

Same here. They die 'of old age' with their bars full.

In this game, my oldest was 82, but I've only had a dozen villagers (or maybe even less) die of old age so far. Since those were from the very first generation born in the island (or even the original villagers from the beginning), I'm sure they'll start dying at 85-90 or more eventually. My brother did get a couple of villagers who died at 100 while playing VV4.

I had a villager live to 90. Her name was Hope she had blonde hair. She was in my first selection of villagers. She was the second in the mausoleum. Note:I am saying was because I started that tribe over. The highest I ever had was 100. While the highest mommy was 80 something.
