just like in VF, as soon as they get up u can pick them up and still get either new OR tech points! this however does NOT work with mushies!!! i tried it with 2 separate mushies and lost the food AND the mushie!

It DOES work with the 'shrooms, but you've got to be very careful with placement. If you don't place them just right, you end up losing the food. But when you get it (specially with a red shroom), it's so worth it! I like to call this "double dipping"!

i stand corrected then Ajuma! all i know is that i lost 2 brown mushies like that! i wouldn't attempt it with red ones!!!

You've got to put one a little above the shroom and the other a little below. I've lost a couple (they went off to do something else!), but it IS possible! I don't usually try it with the littlest one...only the bigger ones that I can catch more easily! lol

I think you're talking at cross-purposes here. What esther is referring to is that there is no need to wait until the kid has taken the collectible to the lab or wherever. You can interrupt them and the collectible will still count. What ajuma is talking about is the exploit that allows you to place two kids on the same collectible or mushroom and you can get credit from both.

Actually you can get three on it. Pause game
Grab kid put it on it
Unpause, and then pause again really fast with the spacebar
Drop another kid on it
Find another kid hold it over the collectible
Drop the kid at the same time you unpause the game
Sometimes you may do it right but the 3rd kid won't get it cause the collectible might have disappeared already And it also works on mushies

As in VV2 and VV3 ou can do that But, it's more difficult because, in this game, you may have interactions between kids when you drop one kid on another. They'll play together!   So you have to really take care or the mushy,collectible will be lost!
