The rope hmmmmm, that is a good question but I think it has something to do with the bamboo poles on ropes attached to the rocks...may need to use it to attach another bamboo pole to the 3rd rock formation that is visible on the other screenie but not on the closeup one of the dock. _________________________ skipper45mn
