VV4 is still not out?

Anyone know what is going on?
I remember it was supposed to come out in the 4th quarter of 2009 and someone posted that it would not be coming out, after all, for a few more weeks.

Any word on what's going on?
Did it get canceled altogether or did they run into some major problems?

no real word yet on it. Last we heard it would be in a few more weeks that was per arthur on page 25 of the thread for vv4. none of us has heard anymore we are all waiting for it anxiously.

Did they lock it because they were irritated that people are asking when it is coming out?
I hope it is not against the rules to ask. I don't see anything pertaining to that in the rules, but it seems they locked it because people were getting impatient?

I hope it comes out soon. It is understandable that people are wondering what is going on and why it is still not out, no?

I think they are also working on the 30th generation bug in VF.

If you look 5 post below this one, you will see the same post. That one was locked. This one might be soon as well. Just letting you know.

The last official word was that they should release it in 1st Quarter of 2010. That would technically give them until the end of March. I hope it's not that long, but we'll have to wait and see.

I had been away from the forums because of a death in the family. the 12th was the last time i had been here. so you can imagine my consternation when i returned on the 30th to find that the vv4 thread had been locked. of course that really didn't surprise me since it was getting to be nothing but when and can't waits. LDW i think you all do an amazing job, really it not a job that i think i would want. i love the games you have developed all of them. i have spent the last few days reading posts. so now my big question is where can we have friendly discussion about vv4 if the threads about it are being locked?????

Not all the threads are being locked. We are still allowing this one for the time being. Also there are a couple of active suggestion/want threads for the game.

The main reason the other thread was locked was because it was becoming repetitious. LDW wants to see active discussions of the games, and tends to encourage them as long as they don't contain erroneous information or devolve into a series of meaningless how soon will it happen questions.
