Hi all, i've been on the forum lots checking up information while i grow my fishies  I wanted to say hi, and ask a few questions i couldn't find answers too.
I haven't been playing long, but so far i like what i've done. Within the 24hours i've played, i've gather 5,415$.. lost 6 fish, and sold 254 fish, discovered 36 fish. Wanted to know if that was a good score?
Also, i keep getting these yellow fish (looks like a clown fish but it isn't orange) and sadly they keep dieing on me, i believe it's my enviroment.. luckly i'm almost finished researching it so i might be able to save this next batch... I've already baught 5 Vita potions... I wanted to know how long exactually does it take for each research to complete?
Those are the two fish i keep finding from the Common Eggs, i can't seem to get them past 14 years old =(

Question; I'm not sure if i breeded this fish or not, but it showed up in my 2nd tank (empty)  this just telling me i suck cause i have so little fish left? haha

It's probably a firearrow, in which case it wont survive in less than the highest level of environment. Check it and see what its parents are, or what its called.

So far there is no way to get the tanks to hold more than 20 fish at one time, that I am aware of. The only way to get "more tanks" is to purchase the one from the "supplies" store, then you will have 3 tanks.
Please tell me what you mean by "Yes i am a newbie..don't be a hater =p. I am a fairly new user of this forum also. I've been playing the fishie game for about 4 months.
I am really curious to know what your intro means.

Hi,
I can see you have many questions, and not many replies..
You may have already had some of your questions answered just by playing the game.. but.. here goes
After you have fully researched all the levels of fish environment (there are 3) then any fish will live and be healthy. Its a good idea to breed the "easy" ones and get some cash while your are researching. It does take some time.. but once you have finished.. you can really "play" and make all the fishies.
In my game.. at 2x speed.. it takes about 2 hours for my fish to get to age 20. that is from impregnation to adult hood.. BUT.. after you get the oriental gold bulb.. that time gets decreased if it is swimming in the tank with the babies.. I always make sure one is swimming where babies are growing up to help things move along a little faster..
Plus.. there is the growth hormone that will speed things up too.
oh.. and keep track! I have volumes of notes .. and i refer to them all the time..

oh.. and the yellow fish is a "snout" and the white one is a "pigmy" ....

Obviously I am so new I didn't even know that the content had what would be considered spoilers.. I will be much more careful in the future.. This game rocks!! I don't want to ruin it for anyone!

me too actually... as a "newbie" (had to look up the word in the dictionary he he!)myself i would definitely like to know (more curiosity than anything  ) have there been problems in the past regarding time of registry in the/a forum?

What goldenguppy is referring to is that there are certain fins that match certain fish. That combo is known as a perfect fish.
There are also 21 different types of each specie, so one tank can hold all of the different fin types on one kind of fish.
