Is VV4 later than we had intended? Yes. Despite our best efforts, that happens with most of our games, and you'll find threads similar to this for just about every game we have released. As has been said many times before, software development is an uncertain process full of twists and turns along the way. Our real-time games are even more challenging because of the added complexity of managing the effects of the passage of time on the games.

Secondly, I think (hope) I speak for everyone when I say that I understand that this kind of thing happens
. It is a minor frustration, and it's nice to know that you care about your fans enough to tell us about this kind of thing.
Believe me, I want this game so badly, but if you want the development to go even a bit faster (and I'm not trying to be offensive), it might help if we eased the pressure on the people of LDW. As Lady said, there are only a few people working on a tremendous game, so it's not going to come out as fast as a game from Maxis would. If you really are addicted to the game, I've noticed that it helps to not check every day, just check once every other day. Take a walk, watch a movie, enjoy some of the many other games LDW has to offer.
But did anyone notice the yellowish thing that sticks out behind the waterfall just where it reaches the pond?
