OMG!!! Since EG finally let me on, I was able to see this! I noticed the population is only 5. Why the population decrease? I thought for sure the population would be at least 9 people. Did some die?
BTW, nice tree! I bet it will look better when it's 100% healthy!!!

Doesn't look like anyone died off, the tech and food are at 99 and 60, fairly standard for the start of a tribe. It is curious that they only start with 5 villagers if that is the case, and at least one of them a child.

5 villagers should make it a lot easier for food as the pregnant mother uses 2 food rations and can't work.

maybe in VV4 pregnant mothers CAN work!? We saw a little of this in VF, and I'm sure people have been asking about it for a long time.

Progress went from 95% to 98% in a matter of days. I know it's silly, but I keep hoping "tomorrow when I log on" it'll be available (I thought that yesterday, and I think that today, and I'll think it tomorrow too ... I'm embarrassed to say how much I feel like a kid knowing they're getting a present!)

If there really are only 5 to start and if you end up with one nursing mom (whether by choice or event, that would leave one child, one to farm/gather/hunt, and only be two to research. That goes way back to the first VV with just 6 villagers. Remember how slow the tech points came in?

Or maybe you start with five but can do something to increase it to nine (EG, you light a fire, four people who were lost see it and make their way towards it, then stay to join your tribe).

I like your lost people theory. It would be great if all those villagers that I had just disappear would show back up.

I would love to see totems again too, just not 50 of the things. I run out of places to stick them.
