Wow Daeben, looks like you've been very busy! Nice job getting those rooms merged. Now that you know how to do it you can always tweak it until it lines up exactly how you want it. When you save your map try saving it at a higher quality jpg and it will likely cut down on any fuzziness you're experiencing. I started saving mine at 100%. Don't you just love the flower filled swimming pool? That was a special request by me to Lewanda and I LOVE it! My peeps switch between it and Moonlyght's Natural swimming pool.

Yes MissKathy I have been busy, I think it took me two days to find the mods I wanted to use and abt a weel or so to merge it all and yet I am still working on it. I so do love the flower filled swimming pool, and have Moonlyght's Natural swimming pool. I was planning on doing the same and switching between the two. I am going to try saving them at a higher quality jpg, thanks for the tip MissKathy. Thank you JennaC145. I have noticed you need alot of patience when doing this. I am using the program that came with my PC, Paint. Yeah I did add a bit of everyones mods, you all did such great jobs on them. I am on a mission to make abt 4 different house maps to change from, with a few things the same as the first above. Like the grounds and the stairs and a few other things. I know I will need help, so I have a question. If I need to ask for a mod to be tweaked, merged or something. Should I ask her or make a whole new thread?

Ok cool, yeah I like things nice and neat too. so happy to help keep them that way. Seems I have my first request. I was hoping that Lewanda or another of the great modders could change the maps for the lvl 1 kitchen to Lewanda's Salmon-Green 3th kitchen upgrade. I wanting to ask if able to, can the Plum-Green 3th kitchen upgrade be placed as the 2th kitchen upgrade with the Burgandy-Green 3th kitchen upgrade replacing the yellow 2th kitchen upgrade. Along with the kitchens can the black kichen back door from Lyssaria's Custom Deluxe Kitchen be added to them all please.

Okay I understand that you want the Salmon-Green level 3 for your 1st kitchen. Then the Plum-Green level 3 kitchen for the 2nd kitchen? Then the Burgandy-Green level 3 kitchen for the 2nd kitchen also? Oops.
Salmon-Green for 1st Plum-Green for 2nd Burgandy-Green for 3rd
Black doors on all
Is that the order?

I wanted to see what the kitchens looked like but when I click on the link it doesn't work. I get a message that the file link requested is not valid. Can this be fixed??

I know, so sorry about that. I will send them to you in a pm. Is that okay? In the meantime I will try to figure out why it isn't letting me post it!

Are you asking me Jenna about sending the kitchens by pm or are you asking Daeben? If me, then yes pm is okay.

Thanks Lewanda! I am so happy Jenna was up for it. Thank you Jenna. I hope all is well for you soon Lewanda, best wishes sent to you each day. I wanted to know if someone could place Lewanda's Salmon-Green 3th kitchen upgrade on to the original kitchen map/s and add the black kichen back door from Lyssaria's Custom Deluxe Kitchen to it please.

The original flooring is hardwood between the kitchen and livingroom as well as going down the hallway. Therefore, redoing the kitchen maps will affect the other rooms because you have Lyssaria's black flooring on the 2nd and 3rd levels of your VF house.

Oh my!!! That would be a major mess!!! MissKathy is correct. With Lyssaria's black flooring you are going to be limited to what you can do to the house. Sorry that we can't do this one for you!!!

So you want the entire house the original rooms with the salmon green kitchen put in. Do you want the outside the original yard too?

I'm curious, what level kitchen did your VF families actually purchase in the store? Didn't Lewanda originally do her kitchens on the original maps? I think all that would really have to be done is to have the black door transferred (and perhaps the black stairs too).

Yes Jenna I want the salmon green kitchen placed on the original maps that make up the whole kitchen with the black door added. Hmmmm MissKathy... My first family have updated to the lvl 2 kitchen, they are the first Gen so won't be updating them for a time. All my other familys have no updates at all. My first house which I posted here in this thread is done, I made a few changes added lil things from other mods. Now I am making a new house to change/switch from my first house, with all new rooms. Yeah Misskathy that is what I was planning to do. I like the black doors and stairs, but my programs don't allow me to do somethings, like the back door and stairs that is part of the kitchen.

Hi Daeben. GIMP is free image editing software that some of the mod makers/mergers are using. BayouBlonde (another forum member) was also new to mods, taught herself how to use it and made a tutorial and some additional tips for the rest of us. I know Lewanda uses Paintshop Pro. I don't know if it's free. However, some software comes with a 30-day free trial period. Just a thought since the program you're currently using is limited. Modding is great fun and helps keep me interested in playing while I watch for my last 2 bugs for my collection! YESSSS!!!! Make that 1 bug!

Wow thank you Miskathy. I downloaded gimp, and it is prefect, I have alot to learn abt using it. There is so much you can do with it. Thank you BayouBlonde for making gimp known to us all here, and for making such a great guide for it.

Great Daeben, I'm so happy that you love it! BayouBlonde is wonderful! She also made lots of great food for our VF Families as well as some inspiring mods. I miss her presence on the forum, she's a very sweet person! Happy modding!
