I have the iphone version of VF but my store is not stocking tape to repair the hose or floor repair to repair my floor. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do?

The store (like most time-dependent facets of the game) relies on an accurate and stable clock in the device. If the clock is deliberately or inadvertently changed, the store's restocking schedule is disrupted, especially if the clock is moved backwards in time. At this time, there is not anything you can do to correct that situation when it happens (other than waiting to see if the store starts restocking again on its own), although we are looking at the issue.

The store on my iphone 3gs is not restocking at all. Empty spaces in the varied items except for the clothes. It has been like this for 2 days. Also the same grocery is one sale too so assumption is that nothing is refreshing in the store at all. No time travel on the phone and no tampering of the clock. Any advice?

Unfortunately, I can't offer any advice, other than what I offered above. In all of our testing, the only time the store 'got stuck' like that was when the device's clock had been set backwards, and the game was launched while the time was earlier than the last time the game had been played.

There was a bug in the Windows version of iTunes that would randomly change the date and time on the device (see this answer in our Support FAQ for more information), but I don't know if that applies to you.

Hi, my iPod Touch VF game store is also not restocking, but only in the "varied items" -5 slots-- group. The red glove, and two outfits are there. I had bought one dress and 2 men's suits and it did replace them. While I never bought a dog or cat for the family (I'm a rescuer... we need a shelter in this game! they also do not appear.

The red glove shouldn't appear in the store so that's definitely a glitch. I think I've seen something similar reported in the forums before, but I could find it using the forum search. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

We are working on this issue, but I can't predict when an update will be available.

I have the lite version of VF for iphone - I was wondering if they will ever have any of these things? or is that the limit of the lite version? :P

The lite version of Virtual Families is a limited version and does not offer many of the store items that are available in the full, paid app.

I have the lite version on the iPhone. I have NOTHING in my store under home improvements! I can't buy tape or anything to repair the floors or walls. What can I do? I currently have a leaking hose!

The only thing you can do is purchase the game. The full version will allow you to and that will help you fix the hose.

So . . . I've been playing this game literally on a daily basis for 3 months, and all of that work is just down the drain now, because of a glitch that won't restock the store?

There is really no update to fix this issue?

The store hasn't updated in a few days, so I have almost nothing left in my varied items box and the same item in groceries has been on sale. Is there anything I can do to fix this..? I just started a new generation and that didn't affect the store.

Yeah, I'm about to just quit playing. It's rather frustrating to lose 3 months worth of work.

It's not possible to make an update just for this issue? Like just where the store is restocked? If that makes sense.

I have the FULL VF version on my iPhone. My store hasn't restocked in several days... nearly a week. I haven't altered or changed the clock or anything else. It simply froze up. I have tried purchasing the remaining items, hoping to jolt it into restock. It didn't help at all. The outfits changed tho. So I decided to try and buy several different sets. I have purchased several outfits, male and female, all different, and they restock. Yet nothing else does. I'm at a point of major frustration with this game because of it. There ceases to be as much "pull" to play, when I know I have nothing to do, except feed my people. That's about all I can do, with no new items, to facillitate trophies, etc. This sound like it's a problem for a lot of people... so I think LDoW needs to make addressing this issue with an update asap, not just at some undetermined point, a PRIORITY.

Oh and one other thing, I also began a new generation, hoping that when I did, it would cause it to begin restocking again... But no, it didn't. I'm with Corry & Sarah... seriously irked.

My store does not change except the cloths !!! I bought some wall repair stuff and not used becuase my hose is broken and I need the tape plus my dam just had a earthqake and all my floor holes are back .please help
