My little brother is all into military stuff, and I thought since his birthday is coming up soon, he'd probably like a house based on the military itself. You know- camoufalge bedsheets; mostly green and brown house- the works. It's ok if everone ignores this, though. To me, it sounds tricky to tackle head on. But I don't have paint shop pro, or any other image alterer like that.

I added this request to my growing requests list, though I really can't promise you anything. My real work is really backed up on me, so I'm having to concentrate on getting caught up on it for now.

I thought you were going to try the livingroom so I gave the the patio and master bedroom a shot. This is what I came up with for the bedroom, I still need to finish the upgrade.

Elisa didn't specify which pattern she wanted, I just used that one. I posted the master bedroom in the mod forum. I just hope I did it right. LOL I have never posted a zip file before, so I am keeping my fingers crossed I did it right. Just wanted to add I kept the room simple with no frills, it seemed more military that way. Now someone (hint, hint) needs to make some pictures with a military theme.

It looks good OkieD! I just uploaded the living room. I'm not going to attempt the kitchen, I had so many problems with the upgrades for my office. I'm not ready to do more upgrades!

You girls are doing a great job on the camo request. I can do the pics if noone else is doing them.

Wow! Lewanda, I had to snag those paintings! My dad and hubby are both vets. My hubby was very impressed! Great job! I can try the kids room in a day or two, but nothing with an upgrade. I actually have an idea for the kids' room.

FINALLY...got the bathroom done. The water anim was driving me crazy. I think I got it close enough. It is posted in the mods forum. Now I need to learn to post the link.

You can find my laundry and office merged with OkieD's master bedroom and bath, and Kissy's kid's room by clicking on the link below. NOTE: You still have to download OkieD's master bedroom and bath, and Kissy's kid's room to get the maps/files that aren't in my two mods. However this way you want have to bother with merging them.

Thank you Lewanda! Being able to do a house with you guys was really cool! I was very proud to be included in this one. My dad is a retired vet after 32 years in the Army. My hubby is a vet from Desert Storm. It may be a small thing, but it felt nice to do this. Oh, Lewanda, the flag case in your office was great! I tried to do one, but I couldn't get the flag right. I'm going to snag it for my living room.

Elisa, I second Lewanda, tell your brother happy birthday for us! If there's anything he wants changed in my living room or the kids' room, just let me know and I'll change it.

That's easy to fix. The new maps just need to be merged with the parts of the other maps that you want to keep.

Well, he wants all the peices of the map that were made,( including living room and kitchen) but he doesn't care about the dryer color.

I think it all looks great. I really liked Lewanda's office. I have posted the kitchen upgrades....I just added it to my original kitchen if you go looking for it. Okay, still waiting on how to post the links tut. LOL I looked in the forum for how to do it but I can't find anything.

Kissy, I enjoyed working on this with you two also. The collaboration made it kind of fun. It also felt good knowing we were giving Elisa's brother a bday gift.

I think it worked out great. And it was fun because you didn't have to do a whole house. By all of us doing it they get a unique house. From the requests I've seen that is what most of them want. I know they keep you busy with the various rooms they want combined.
I know someone suggested a "favorite team" theme, but without a specific team that would be hard. Maybe just a sports themed house???
I will wait and see what they come up with next.

Elisa, I didn't realize it but ever since my reinstall my photo program has been set to save images in a low resolution. I went back to my layers and resaved them in a highter resolution and did remerged everything.
