... I wrote this short story for Laurence for her birthday a while back. I wrote it in English and in not-so-great French. But Laurence translated it into great French, and we would like to share it with the Forum. 
GlitchesIt all started one day when Keiki took her laundry down to the stream. There she noticed the smell of the water. She ran them quietly through the flowing water, and then shook them out to dry. Keiki put them back in her basket, but never took them back to the research hut to hang them up to dry. In the process, Keiki caught a Glitch. “I’ll do it later.” She told herself. So she carried the basket over to a hut that was being built.
But she couldn’t hold the hammer while she was holding the basket. The clean clothes smelled so good she refused to let them go. So she used the basket to bang in a few nails, picked up her basket and moved on. However, what Keiki didn’t know, was that Molo then caught her Glitch. After Molo tied the last branch to the top of the building, he got stuck on the roof! One day she began to cradle her basket as if there were a newborn inside.
Glitches spread far and wide across the village until the Guiding Hand arrived. She saw that the village was running amuck with Glitches going on everywhere. So she quickly took screenshots of all her funny villagers. Once she posted them on the Forum, she went back to her game.
There she took Molo off the roof of the new building.
She pulled young little Itchy out from the middle of the ocean.
She carried Ongo out from behind the rock at the pond.
Then she grabbed Tonga out of the purple flowers by the waterfall.
And finally, she stopped Hiji before he could drop his mushroom into the fire.
But Keiki she missed. To this day, Keiki walks around the village with her laundry basket. Reminding the Guiding Hand of all the funny things that can happen when one gets a Glitch.
Glitches"Tout a commencé un jour où Keiki a porté son linge à laver à la rivière. Là, elle a remarqué l'odeur de l'eau. Elle les agita tranquillement dans l'eau, puis les secoua pour les sécher. Keiki les remis dans son panier mais n'a jamais pu les rapporter dans la hutte de recherche pour les accrocher et les faire sécher. Dans le processus, Keiki pris un Glitch. «Je vais le faire plus tard." se dit-elle à elle-même. Elle a donc porté le panier à une cabane qui est en cours de construction.
Mais elle n'a pas pu tenir le marteau tout en tenant le panier. Les vêtement propres sentaient tellement bon qu'elle refusait de les laisser. Alors elle utilisa le panier pour taper sur quelques clous, repris son panier et parti. Toutefois, ce que Keiki ne sut pas c'est que Molo attrapa son Glitch. Après que Molo eut attaché la dernière branche sur le haut du toit, il resta collé sur le toit ! Un jour elle se mit à bercer son panier comme s'il y avait un nouveau-né dedans.
Glitch se propagea de long en large à travers le village jusqu'à ce que la "Main Guideresse" arriva. Elle vit que le village était pris de folie avec des Glitchs partout. Alors elle s'empressa de prendre des images(-écran) de tous ses drôles de villageois. Une fois qu'elle les eut postées sur le forum, elle retourna au jeu.
Là elle retira Molo du toit du nouveau bâtiment.
Elle tira le jeune petit Itchy du milieu de l'océan.
Elle porta Ongo hors de derrière le rocher sur l'étang.
Puis elle arracha Tonga des fleurs pourpres (violettes) près de la cascade.
Et finalement, elle stoppa Hiji avant qu'elle ne laisse tomber son champignon dans le feu.
Mais elle a manqué Keiki. A ce jour, Keiki se promène (se ballade) autour du village avec son panier de linge. Rappelant à la "Main Guideresse" toutes les drôles de choses qui peuvent arriver quand quelqu'un a un Glitch"
