Thanks Simsane. I couldn't stand not playing. I'm a true addict. lol WOW at the changes in the updates. Tons of new actions. I can't tell much difference at all in the energy level so far, but I noticed they "starved" overnight. At first I panicked thinking I had not provided enough food, but that was not the case. I had to make each family sit down to a meal twice this morning before they became full. Their fed levels are dropping quickly and they don't seem to be able to learn to prepare meals for themselves any more, which I find strange. If I have to feed them several times a day I won't be able to run as many families as I did before, so I won't be able to provide as much data. I did manage to get several started at $15 and chose a few that we need data on, so we'll see how it goes.

As a correction to my earlier post, the Cocktail Inventor, which started at $15 masters at $330.

I may have imagined this, (it was late at night) but it seemed that the same job did not always start at the same starting salary. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed this?

Maybe they were just similar sounding jobs...

I had too much free time. I've compiled a google spreadsheet for all the info we've posted. I've noticed a few inconsistencies but made my best guess. Please continue posting your updates in this thread! I will periodically check back and republish.

Meanwhile, I'm also compiling links and stuff on my Squidoo page. http://www.squidoo.com/virtual-families

I love the spreadsheet! Nice work, mosaic. I only wish it were sortable.

I hate that we can only edit our posts for such a short period of time. I would just paste this in my post above. Much of it is duplicate info. I'm trying to get more with salaries beginning at 45 as it seems that is where there is an inconsistency in our data. But, as I am starting over with all first gens again, I needed to throw in some I knew would max at 690 to give myself some nice work room upgrades to ensure master level data. I started several new ones today and if I still have extra time in the next couple of days, I might start another user to give us some more. Some are being played by my daughter, so I will have some holes in my data here and there.

Camera Repairer 1) 90, (2) 105, (3) 129, (4) 144, (5) 168,(6) 195, (7) 234, (8) 300
Online Store Operator (1) 15, (2) 30, (3) 54,(4) 108, (5) 174, (6) 270, (7) 450, (8) 690
Doughnut Decorator (1) 60, (2) 75, (3) 90, (4) 114, (5) 144 (6) 180, (7) 225, (8) 285
Pesto Sauce Creator (1) 15, (2) 30, (3) 54, (4) 108, (5) 174, (6) 270
Box Maker (1) 15? (6) 120, (8) 210
Pen Designer (1) 15, (2) 30, (3) 54, (4) 108, (5) 174, (6) 270, (8) 690
Glue Mixer (1) 45, (2) 54, (3) 66 (4) 81,
Chewing GUm Designer (1) 15, (2) 30, (3) 54 (4) 108, (5) 174 (6) 270
Publicist (1) 45,(2) 60, (3) 75 (4) 90, (5) 120, (6) 165, (7) 210, (8) 270
Meat Grader (1) 90, (2) 105, (3) 129 (4) 144
Video Game designer (1) 15, (2) 30, (3) 54, (4) 108 (5) 174 (6) 270
Vitamin Inventor (1) 15, (2) 30, (3) 54,(4) 108, (5) 174, (6) 270, (7) 450, (8) 690
Recipe Inventor (1) 15, (2) 30, (3) 54, (4) 108, (5) 174,
Talent Agent (1) 15 (2) 30 (3) 54
Screenplay Writer (1) 36, (2) 54 (3) 66
Watch Fixer (1) 90 (2) 105
Soup Inventor (1) 60
Toy Maker (1) 60, (2) 75, (3) 90

Edit: I forgot to say that I am also intentionally trying to take some of those job titles that have been posted as not falling into the main pay scales so that I can confirm the reported information. For example, with pen designer, although the master salary was reported to be different than others beginning at the same level, so far it seems to be on the same pay scale, so the master salary reported may have been an error.

Edit 2: The master salary previously reported for Pen Designer was indeed an error. It is on the same standard pay scale as the other job titles beginning at 15 and masters at 690.

I never noticed this until last night when I was thinking about starting a new game. Not all of the potential adoptees are beginners. I think that's what led to my confusion about certain starting salaries. There are a few novice adoptees mixed in with the beginners.

I have a Day Trader - his salary changes every day - very cute!
the most he has made in a day is 640, but the next day he was back to 60

Kalon, yes that is correct. Some start as novice, level 2. This is also true with proposals. Some new spouses are level 2 as well.

Thanks BayouBlonde. I've added your numbers.

What would you like to sort them by? I could just create another tab and copy the spreadsheet to the second tab and sort it that way.
