I caught one of kids in the room when the adults were trying to have a baby.

One of the peeps had prepared dinner and everyone ate. One was cleaning up the meal when Mom had her twins. She immediatly called the children for dinner and they ate at an empty table!

It was nighttime, parents and three kids all showed that they were "tired", so I put them all to bed. Went back several minutes later and they were all still in bed but one of the kids - he was sitting on the edge of the bathtub, washing his feet.

I just got one where the mom's action said "Turning off the shower" when she got there two sons were in the bathroom and the shower was running with the curtain closed. She opened the curtain and no one was in it! Makes me wonder what the boys' actions said at the time!

Here's something I think was hilarious. One of my peeps was suppose to be swimming in the pool right??? He was swimming up a storm in the yard by the pool. LOL, it was hilarious to watch!

One thing that was funny to me was that whole basic digging a hole to china thing, but the first and oldest kid was playing charades in the living room.. alone.

I moved one couple to the BR, lol he is a runner and last time I tried with them he was half way to the kitchen for a latte before she even got on the bed. I dropped her on her husband to try for a second child, before he could start dancing she ran around to the wrong side of the bed leaped up on it and ran across to get the rose. My first thought for a caption was-- Baby, baby must have "huff huff breath Tammy.. RUUUN!" baabyy!-- First time she ever ran as well. No way to get a screen pic, I was laughing so hard almost fell out of my chair. She got her baby, second little boy with a mullet.. she went from elated to exhausted, and passed out on the LR floor. Husband made another latte and went back to work.

Something similar happened in my family, but as the guy (hyper due to energy drink) was on the bed and gone almost before his wife even got the rose out. Sad/funny thing: As he was getting off the bed, his action box said "Telling a joke".

My last generation, all that was left of my family was the 55 year old parents and an 18 year old boy (everyone else went away to college).

The 18 year old liked to call the kids to brush their teeth and to come to dinner?!? It was pretty funny watching him stand there yelling for the kids and nobody came lol

I had a kid jumping all over the bed while the couple were trying to make a baby and I was so consentrating watching the kid, I had not noticed they had just finish trying and ended up with no baby. I was hoping for a girl as they only had 2 boys so far. I like the sounds the kid makes when I pick him/her up. I have to try again later and make sure that her son not jumping on the bed.

When my very first adoptee, Brenessa, passed on she left behind one of her children and her husband, Sam. As it does each time the first parent in the first generation dies, the game automatically went to the "Family" screen. I clicked on the button to move to the next generation (not realizing that Sam would be kicked out of his own house.) The very first email (post marriage) that my new homeowner recieved was the one from "Sam" in which he loses his job, falls downstairs and catches fire. At the time I did not know that it was a standard random email so I was horrified. It wasn't until the email came again in a different family that I realized I hadn't ruined poor Sam's virtual life.

My Marc-Henri won that same contest - ate 27 hot dogs. He too went straight to the scales, gave a yelp then ran on the treadmill.

After that he was "hungry", prepared a meal and ate with the family until he was full again

OMG...I read this and laughed so hard I nearly had coffee come out of my nose. Hilarious! I know I felt bad the first time I started a new generation without realizing I would be kicking the remaining parent out of his own house. I can only imagine how you must have felt getting an email like that and believing you had caused it.

Yesterday I was watching my little family that has 2 sets of triplets ages 5 and 2.. They all look exactly alike with identical clothes.. Horned Rim Glasses Nerd ya know.. the youngest Brandon and the Oldest Yuri kept going off and hiding for no reason.. It took like 5 minutes of looking to find all 6 kids. Found out that the turtle had crawled into their room and they got scared and all 6 went to hide from turtle. And everytime the turtle would crawl into the house near the pool.. I would see 6 little boys running away and hiding in various places around house.

I just got a 2 year old boy whose favorite thing is makeup. I'll give him a gender neutral name.

Oslo and his wife Kristy both work in the kitchen. Kristy finished her work cycle a little ahead of Oslo, and while he was retrieving something from the fridge, she cleaned up the counter. Oslo came back to the counter work area, made the little Hmm sound that they sometimes make while working, and apparently started looking for his missing doughnuts. I guess he finally found them in the bottom cupboard because he got up and did the 'dance of joy'

At one point all five family members, two parents and three kids, were sleeping, when suddenly one of the kids jumped off the bed and started running. I clicked on her to see what she was doing and it said she was jumping on the bed. She proceeded to run from her room into her parents' room and start jumping on their bed while they were sleeping in it. Despite a three-year-old jumping on his shoulder, Dad never budged. Neither did Mom.

I also like making the little kids do grown-up jobs. It's funny to see a three-year-old taking out the trash (the bag is as big as him), or see a two-year-old checking email or selling an object on the internet.

My peeps just had a new baby, and their little girl celebrated along with her parents. Her next action was "hiding toys"! Guess she's not too happy with the new addion!

I dunno if this is funny or just weird, but sometimes the kids grow up to look just like the "parent", so not realizing it was a child I went to "make a baby" with a "son" and it said, "Player too young". *sigh*, how embarrassing!

So do I! "Watering the flowers" is also fun to watch.

There is a little boy in the game, I've gotten him twice in 2 differnt families.. Named Jester.. Bright Green Hair, Green Clothes and of course Hates green.. Soo funny!! and best part he looks just like my cousin who's nickname is Jester.. LOL

today i fed one of the kids a piece of candy while he was in the pool. Try it because it is hysterical. Don't want to say what happens and ruin the surprise!!! You will laugh!

I have 2 sets of elderly right now that are living off of energy drinks.. one is 72 and one is 69, they have not slept in a couple of days, the store gives me an energy drink every time it restocks..so i give them another.. and wow never sleep and keep going like the energizer bunny.. its soo funny..

If you are talking about what I think, the same thing happens when you praise them. But they have to be in the water, not on top.

Sadly Harrah Died at the Impossible age of 74 yrs old less then 10 minutes ago.. I was sorry to see her go, She was hilarious. Her poor hubby couldnt keep up with her and died at the age of 64. My other Wife Saratoga Is still alive which is suprising really all the times she has been sick.. but she is now 69 yrs old and still in full health and i think her energy bar is stuck at full cause she doesnt stop..it has been 2 days since she last slept..

I was trying to get my couple to have another baby but they kept arguing about whether the time was right. Determined, I continued to drop them on each other. After about the 15th time, their oldest child, Gemma, popped out of the closet where she had been hiding unbeknownst to me. They stopped arguing immediately and gave Gemma a baby sister named Emma.

That bug was fixed quite some time ago, and won't happen in the later versions of the game.

Kristania just started filling in the hole her son Akolo had dug to China. He obviously wanted it still, as he ran up behind her while she was filling it in and dug it again. Akolo must have given up as she walked off leaving him digging the hole. It's still there.

It was raining and my Sarah Palin look-alike was running to the pool. When she came inside she dried her hair and feet. Later, while it was still raining, I had her pick up a ladybug then she went to look for bugs. lol

LOL! "Mo-o-o-om! I'll never get to China if you put all the dirt back!" Very cute.

This was funny just because I have never seen this action before.

One of my peeps was cleaning a dirt smudge on the stairs between the office and the utility room. I bought the patio just after putting him on the spot and he slid out to it sideways on his knees to celebrate the upgrade. It was VERY funny to watch and I couldn't stop laughing !!

I said this on the humorous screeshots thread, but this seems to be a better post.

1. In my second family, I had the father repairing one of the floors. He had gotten up to go watch TV and I went to get him so he could finish, I get back and his wife is repairing it and she finishes it (Ha, leave it to a woman to do a man's job)

2. All of my family members in my first family decided it would be fun to hang out in the toilet.

3. All of my third family members had died of (okay that's not funny, but once who here the circumstances, you'll laugh.) I had just bought them 2,000 units worth of food, that should have kept them satisfied overnight...I get up and they are all dead. Bird Flu? Over Consumption? I may never know what killed my family, at least it was only 3rd generation, so I hadn't been that far in the game.


Also I always find the emails hilarious.

1. Uncle Denny and those Oatmeal raisin Cookies. Wherever do my family find the time to bake. Also you would think Uncle Denny would have learned by now.

2. The woman in accounting who just had a baby, how many times is she gonna have a baby?

3. The boss and the riding lawnmower, Why do we keep buying him a riding lawnmower? He keeps crashing the other ones we bought him.

ETA: In the office I have a flat screen on one computer, and the other one is still a regular monitor. Every time I have the read an email or they browse the web, the only use the flat screen it's as if they know. It's kinda freaky.

omg!! when my male and female was about to get married the toilet clogged, it was raining when the female was entering the house and when the male was giving flowers to the female, the female ignored him and wanted to do laundry instead..... rofl it was really funny

..or when the little girls decide to hide their toys. I had 4 kids in my family, 3 older boys and 1 younger girl. The mom had just given birth to another baby girl, the boys celebrated and the girl went to bang on dishes. Jealousy perhaps?)

One of my family members went to go feed the birds. The cat followed her and sat right below the bird house as the family member fed the birds and stayed there as the family member stood around looking in the air waiting for the birds to show up. I suppose lucky for the birds, they did not show up.

The daughter decided to go sleep in her parents bedroom. Shortly after that, Dad headed in and went to bed. Mom tried to go to bed, shook her head then headed to living room to take a nap!

Aspen has decided to head to her own room to sleep, leaving Dad snoring in bed and Mom passed out on the couch.

I like how hubby is all excited about celebrating the marriage, wifey is too but not excited enough to put down the magazine

My family only consisting of the Mom, Dad, and four year old little boy. The dad was celebrating marriage, the mom was cleaning the refrigerator and the four year old was excited about the new baby. Only thing is there wasn't a new baby.

Amethyst that is funny. I have had that happen too! Makes me laugh. Once I even had a little girl running around "jealous of new baby" but it must of been an invisible one because I sure didn't see a baby!

Had a family who had 3 boys, 1 girl .. then along came baby #5, all the little boys ran into the bedroom to celebrate, while the little girl ran into the kitchen and started banging dishes. When she finished that she hid her toys then drew on the wall!

My wimpy 15 year old scared of the storm. He took off from the kitchen and ended up in the parents closet. Lol.

I just had a girl turn off the shower only for her brother to get right back in. Then, she went off to play in the dirt .

I have a family (on the iPhone one but I dont think it makes any difference) that's obsessed with bathroom activities: putting on aftershave, gargling and showering. And as if that werent enough I had to constantly watch them because they always wanted to do dishes & organize the closet. Can you say OCD?
Meant to also mention making the bed and putting on aftershave. ALL the time!

Opened up one of my families and had the BBQ party event. No big deal, except it said it was BBQ weather and it happened to be during a thunder and lightning storm. I wouldn't go out and hold metal tongs in the middle of a thunderstorm, but maybe that is just me.

My family is so poor that when the tax company said they underpaid their taxes, they payed $0.00.

That's funny. I had one of those two, except mine was 18...he's gone now, but it was pretty funny.



Like the man in one of my old families that called the children to bed, the thing is he didn't have any children. Must have wanted children so bad he created imaginary ones. Too bad the IRS won't recognize them.

3rd generation, had a couple that were "perfect match" (same career) and both wanted kids.

I had bought a pet cat, and there was one 10-year-old child named "Bam" in the house.

I send my couple to go make a baby, and the cat is already sleeping on the bed. My peeps don't care. While they're doing their making-a-baby ritual up on the bed, Bam comes in and jumps on the bed. So everyone in the house (both parents, child, and pet) is all on the bed...

And I got my first twins!

Congrats cookiemonster! Usually when there's a child jumping on the bed, my couples fail to have a baby at all.

I was trying to get them to do a giggle party & about the 3rd time I dropped big sister on her bro she ran around the corner from him & started hitting & kicking the wall like she was mad!

The lawn fertilizer guys came around (again!) and suddenly I had weeds every where. There are six kids, so no problem. I picked the kids up one by one, counting each as I went until I got to five. Five? I kept the five kids I had found working while I looked for my missing child, who was nowhere to be found. As I dropped his big sister on the last weed in the yard, little Burone popped out of the laundry room closet.

And I thought MY kids were good at avoiding work.

What happens? I can't figure it out. Can someone tell me?

If they're swimming in the pool, only their heads show and floats around in the water. So, if you praise them or give them candies/fruits they will jump up and down and you can only see the head LOL

Today I was looking for my miniature horse. Well, I have Moonlyght's willow tree with the fairy statue mod installed. My horse was in the highest circle of flowers. It looked like it was fertilizing the flowers!

So, okay, I need to read up on posting screen shots as just have had three 'funnies' happen.
1. mom asleep in chair, teenager plops down next to her with newspaper to read AND dad stands there with feather dustter....dusting away. I expected mom and son to start giggling any minute
2. caught Idol 'checking his weight'.....atop the trash can.
3. not so much funny as a 'huh'....bought mom a new dress [how I wish we could have a closet to keep clothes changes in] and immediately after admiring her wearing the new clothes noticed that the youngest daughter was wearing exact same outfit. Mother/daughter outfits......what a concept!

This is sooo funny, I wish I could do screenshots! My husband had died, all the kids were off to college and my lady was all alone. I had her picking up a sock when I decided to start a new generation. She was just walking past the office when I clicked "NG" I picked who I wanted and when they were checking out the house I noticed the sock was on the fax machine! I cannot get this sock!!! Everytime I drop someone on it they are "browsing web, or working on career" 3 generations later that darn sock is still on my fax.

I had that action twice - all with ladies at her 60s. Maybe the writer bug comes at this age!

Funny or sad (you pick)...

Today I loaded the game and got a message that husband died (old age I guess). The wife (58) was left alone. Her status said, "a bit sick"; she checked the email which was a note from her son saying to come visit. She sent me an email saying she missed her husband but she knows she will get over it soon. She gets up from the computer and her action stated 'itchy'. I watch her scratch so I could know how to treat her and then she dies! Just like that. The screen zooms to the bed and she waved goodbye! I had the game open for about 3 minutes and lost both peeps. Sad thing is I didn't even have a chance to treat her.

Well off to start new generation sooner than I thought.

I saw the oldest triplet in my rainbow family, Paul, "play daddy". It was very convincing. Considering he looks exactly like his dad and wears the same clothes.
I noticed the triplets dislikes studying, and that they're wearing red football uniforms. Some future they'll have... and their older sister Freddie hates red!!!

After a while Matze finally found a lady, and their first child had the automatically generated name "Kin". After a while they made another baby who just looks like "Kin". His automatically generated name is "Nap". So, together they're Nap and Kin. Napkin? NAPKIN? What's next? Sue and Tis? Paper and Toilet? Per and Dia? *lol*

Seems strange to post this under 'what was funny'....as event
was sad and bit of a shock. Why? Opened up the family to a scene of FOUR peeps lying on the bed fading away. Two Homers and Two Adrianna's. All 4 waved AND the game gave me the farewell screen for each of the four!!!!!!
The biggest part of the shock factor was I had not paid attention to which family it was.....so of course thought 'Oh, no, two of the children are dying with their parents!'. Thankfully was not the case.

This is more of a bitter humor.. I've been sick with cystitis for 1 week and 4 days now, I'm a health puzzle to the clinic so I might be off to the hospital soon if it doesn't get better..

I went to the clinic for the 3rd time this week today and when I got back I found the 59 year old mother (in my avvie) waving goodbye to me in her bed. Logged into my Rainbow family and 4 of them were sick with upset stomachs.

I hope you don't have to go to the hospital Lys, but if you do please let us know before you go if it's possible. Hoping you get well soon!

Oh I will, thanks for the concern! I still have another 3 days worth of these pills and then I'll have to schedule the testing procedures and doctor appointment.. could be a while!

My 12th generation guy died tonight while fixing dinner..Actually he'd just sat dinner on the table when the game suddenly switched to the bedroom with him lying on the bed. I'd named him after my dad too, so it kind of hurt when he passed. He was 68 though, so I guess it was time. His health and happiness bars were completey full, so I know it's a random generator that chooses the time of their deaths.

I'm almost done with my laundry. It can sure be frustrating to work on. Now I have that dreaded kitchen to look forward to though. Lol!!!

Bug has been an angel! I remember vfmacfan mentioned the orphans being naughty little 'buggers' as soon as they enter the home, but he has been great! Turning the stove off, washing his face, washing the dishes etc etc. I think he behaves better than the parents

Sounds cute! My orphans behave like all the other kid's. They do some naughty things and some good things. Myself, I love all the naughty things they do. I guess I'm strange.

A funny/sweet action today....Bengine, age 16 joined his 7 year old twin sisters 'playing with toys'. Quickly joined by 11 year old Peniana running in to play as well. found it! i cant remember what generation this was, but it was awhile ago. i almost fell off my chair laughing!

I was too slow to get a screenie of this, but I just have to share what happened because it made me laugh. I had a little boy running out the side door toward the workshop. He's one of those that's always into mischief, so I just knew he was going to draw on the wall. Clicked on him, and sure enough "Drawing on the Wall" was what he was heading out there to do. I reached for the red glove but missed. heh His mom was in the workshop working. I don't know if he saw the glove, or saw her, but he immediately turned and ran back into the house "Doing the Dishes." He changed direction so fast he made me miss with the red glove again before I caught what had happened. It cracked me up. It looked just like he realized Mom was there and he better change course quick.

On another family, I had another little boy, Marcico, who was up to the same thing. I spatted him with the red glove and expected to have to chase him as he ran away. (I usually grab them up and put them on something for the green glove after using the red.) He never ran. I clicked instead of grabbing and he was "Looking for Mommy." I could just imagine a little four year old running off crying for their Mommy after something bad had happened. I felt so bad I decided he would never get the red glove again. lol

I checked on one of my games and there was a thunderstorm going on. I noticed that one of the peeps, a 17-year-old boy, was huddled by the closet in his parents' room 'scared of lightning'. What a wimp! I could understand it if he were 7, but at 17?

I had a grown man do that once, Arnie. He was a brand new adoptee and that is exactly what I thought of him when he did it! Wimp! He was a rather sickly, lazy sort and wanted to STAY at the birdhouse goofing off. :P He did give me 6 children, two of which were also "scared of lightening." One liked the bathroom for hiding; the other used the laundry closet. I remember thinking they must have inherited it. lol

I did have an adult before who was scared of lightning, but her dislikes had 'lightning', so in a way that's understandable. However, I checked and this lad had no dislikes.

I had the same thing happen! I was going to post, but decided to read all of the posts to see if it was here...and it was!

Yes, I've had that event, not only during a thunderstorm, but also around midnight when I was checking on my families last thing before going to bed.

I've also had peeps looking at the stars during a thunderstorm. They must have infra-red eyes or something to be able to see stars through the clouds.

This morning I opened one of my families, checked to make sure everyone was healthy, fed, and showered and then decided that it was time for Jpeg and Tiny (No, I didn't change their names) to try for another baby. As soon as I dropped Tiny on Jpeg, Jpeg shook her head and a message popped up saying they were not feeling well enough for this. Turns out Jpeg had suddenly and mysteriously developed a headache.

I got an email from my peep that said: Life is good. Don't be a stranger!

A whole two short sentences!

I just got a 'life is good' message from one of my peeps. The other sentence was about the fact she could just see the neighbour's attic window if she stood on tiptoe.

She must have been keen to impart this riveting news to me. As she walked towards the computer I picked her up to sit her at the table for a meal. I didn't notice until too late that she was on her way to send me a message. After she'd eaten dinner she set off straight away to send the message that I'd so rudely interrupted earlier.

My blue haired twin, Atlantis, was "putting in eyedrops"! LOLOLOLOLOLOL! Maybe she needs glasses, like I do!

I have a peep that insists on calling the children to eat over and over. Funny thing is, SHE is the youngest child in the family. She is 16 right now, so should be heading off to college in a couple yrs anyway.

Must have been food poisoning!? Three peeps (mother and two young ones), all with the urgent "Nature is Calling!" action, go into the bathroom at the same time. When they came out, you guessed it... the toilet was clogged! I figured the three were wiped out, so I sent father in to fix it.

I thought I had read that the toilet and shower used a reserve system so it couldn't be occupied by more that one at a time.

the funniest was when i dropped my 50 year old woman, who's husband has just died, onto her 18 year old son and ended up trying to make a baby. in the end, there was no baby though ... i was shocked and was laughing so hard. i really wanted them to have a baby. that would have been hilarious

Anyone seen this action? Noticed two brothers playing with the
toys, BUT one brother is standing and flailing away with his
arms [like the adults do when working out for kung fu]. It
looked just like he was beating up on his brother.....who ignored
him, of course.....and yet the action said 'playing with toys'

One of my kids started jumping on the bed when the parents were trying to have a baby. It worked though!

Vaushna, because this is a family oriented game that glitch was fixed with version 4. Parents and children can no longer try to make babies together.

gmom, I get that action fairly often. I love to see the giggle party, so I drop my kids on each other pretty often. I usually get a blank action and the kid looks like he or she is fighting. Maybe the kid just wants to be left alone! lol

My mom peep was floating in the pool and continued floating over the grass as if she were still in the pool!!!
