I got this idea from another forum, it's fun. A dictionary for our forum. It 1, helps newbies understand our odd and sometimes abbreviated lingo, and 2, it's fun to contribute to. I'll start it off. Please, post if you have something you would like to add. I can't edit this post for long, but people can read down or a mod can add for us. Spoilers will be put in accordingly.

A:
Adept: A level of villager skill. Higher than trainee but lower than master.
Adviser: A rank obtained on the forums after reaching 50 posts.
Arthur: The mastermind behind LDW.

B:
Bug Tycoon (abbr. BT): It was brought up as a possibility somewhere by a fan. Though LDW has never mentioned anything about it being in the making or even as a possibility, we still imagine what it would be like.

C:
Carla: The executive producer of LDW.

Consigliere: A title on the forums, obtained after reaching 200 posts.
Collectibles-

D:
Doctor: A skill that a villager can have.

E:
Expert: A rank obtained on the forums after reaching 100 posts.

F:
Fan Fiction (abbr. FanFic):
1. A section of the forums
2. A story pertaining to an LDW game.
Fish Tycoon (abbr. FT): A virtual fish breeding game created by LDW. Also, their first PC creation.
Food bin: the bin where villagers store their food.

G:
Guru: A rank obtained on the forums after reaching 700 posts.

H:
Hut: A structure in VV that allows for higher population.

I:
Isola - The fictional island that the Virtual Villager games, Fish Tycoon and Plant Tycoon take place on.

LadyCFII (abbr. Lady, LadyC, Barbara (OK, techinically that's not an abbreviation): Director of QA and Testing for LDW and the one that keeps the forums running.
Last Day of Work (abbr. LDW): The company that produces our favorite games.
Legend: A rank on the forums obtained after reaching 1200 posts.
Love shack: The fancy hut where villagers "go indoors."

Virtual Villagers: The Secret City (abbr. VV3, VV:TSC): The third edition of Virtual Villagers.
Virtual Villagers 4 (abbr. VV4): The work in progress fourth edition to the Virtual Villagers series.
