Don't Eat the Berries

Little Orla was just 2 years old when she found some very juicy looking berries. Orla had red hair tied in a pony tail like her mommy's hair and her daddy's hair was light brown. Her mommy and Daddy were very old now. Orla's mommy was age 75 and her name is Ashby and her daddy was 51 and his name is Nuru and he was a master farmer and master parent, so Orla had many half brothers and sisters who she played with. Orla liked the parties that the GC made as she liked dancing. Orla wondered why her mommy and daddy did not like the GC parties as they were always complaining about him making too many parties.

Back with the berries Orla was tempted to taste the berries when mommy saw her and ask her what she found, and Orla showed them to her mommy and mommy told her not to eat them as they might be poison and took the berries from her.

Later on she saw her mommy and she did not recognize her as she was not old any more and her daddy was not old any more. Mommy and daddy were now almost as young as she was; they were now 4 years old and were running round the village as children. Orla did not understand why her parents were not grown up any more. They wanted to play with her and to chase butterflies. Orla's mommy and daddy did not seem to recognize their daughter, as some of their memories had faded with eating the berries. Orla will understand one day as when she grows up she will remember about the berries.

As Orla got use to the idea of her parents been 2 years older than her, she thought now that she could boss them about and ask them what she wanted as she knew they still had retained their skills as master parent and master farmers and they would sometimes get some berries and share them among her and her half brothers and sisters and whole brothers and sisters. As Orla grew older, she realized that she would live as long as her parents and she was glad that she give the berries to her parents. There was something else that Orla noticed about her parents they had stopped complaining about the GC parties, but Orla was getting older and found she was growing like her parents and was now getting fed up with the GC parties and thought that one day she to will complain, but at the moment Orla was still too young, she was looking forward to her birthday and she would be age 3.

Chapter 2

Orla's Birthday

Orla and two other childrens birthday who were Lulu was age 11 and Nitis who was age 9. The grown ups that looked very old to Orla made some past out of the berries and the children all sat in the village center enjoying the birthday snacks and for once the GC made his party and as it was Orla’s, Lulu's, and Nitis's birthday for once every body enjoyed the GC party.

Several moons later deserter struck a mighty storm hit the village and all the food was taken. Little Orla was very hungry and kept going to the food bin for food. Then she realized that she could search for mushrooms and looked around the village, she found some mushrooms and got all her friends to help her to pick them and she also got Tala the GC to help. The children realized that little Orla would be an elder one day as she was very bossy and always seem to act different from the other children. One the adult villagers noticed this and ask her what she would like to do. Orla told them she wants to be a scientist when she grows up and she looked at the ingredients on the table and made some real scientific discoveries and became a master scientist at an early age of 3.

Chapter 3

Where are the Adults

A few days later Orla woke to find that all the grown ups had died of old age and she found there was no one old enough to farm as the oldest child was 11 and the youngest was 2 named Seven. Orla was glad there was plenty of food in the bin as it held now 2079580, more than enough to last them until the oldest was old enough to fish which would not be for 3 seasons. As the food might not last Orla decided to get all the kids to keep looking for mushrooms to keep the food supply fresh and up. The GC kept creating the magic food and restoring the crops that no one harvest and growing the berries that no one foraged and the berry bush soon had 500,000 berries ready to forage and no one old enough to farm.

With no adults to control the children, ran wild all over the village, so there was no events to keep the children happy. Orla realized that if her mommy and daddy had not eaten the berries they to would have died and was pleased her and her brothers and sisters were not orphans, but most of them were. At the last count there were 60 children counting the GC who never grew up.

Orla's present to the Golden Child

Orla wondered when was it the GC's birthday and found he never had a birthday as he always remained at the age of 5 as his mommy and daddy told her once. Orla felt sorry for the GC not having a birthday and decided to make him a none birthday present and he asked his mommy and daddy who now reach the age of 5 and now was the same age of the GC, to help with a present and they thought of flowers from the garden. All the children picked a flower each of their favorite type and Orla and her child parents put them together in a bouquet to give to Tala the GC.

All the children gathered together with little Orla leading the way with the bouquet of flowers and she presented them to Tala. Tala who was very wise in his years and even though he was always being in a child's body and would never grow older accepted them gracefully. Then he did a strange thing that no one has ever seen him do. He began to fill up with tears and he spoke for the first time in a mature voice, 'I am most grateful for this gift and I will always remember this day, as you know I don't make friends easily as they grow so fast and die, as you all know if I grow attached to any one they soon grow up and it is hard to let go and that is why I always remain alone and why I make parties to kill the loneliness, I feel at most times.'

After this speech all the children felt sorry and ashamed about not liking the GC and decided to respect him and from that day on every one who got to know Tala The GC, always showed him respect and when they had children when they grew up and had children of their own taught their children to learn and respect the GC and every anniversary of his birth the children brought him flowers.

Part Two

Chapter 4

The mighty storm

2 seasons had gone by and Orla was now 5 years old the 3 oldest children were now 13 who were females named, Tuna, Kuka and Mina and still had awhile to go before they were 14 Tuna was the oldest by two moons and the youngest of the teeniest Mina had just turned 13 half a moon away from Kuka Then there was 2 males who were 11 and they were Ghali and Bobo. Ghali was destined to become a master parent, but that was not going to happen for awhile yet.

One morning Orla was woken up by a very thunderous noise outside her hut and when she looked out saw the ocean waves wear rising very high and she saw a tornado heading for the island. The three oldest children got all the little ones to take shelter in the school until the storm had passed and Orla was very scared but she also knew that Seven who was now 4 years old the youngest and a male was also scared. So little Orla put her arms round his shoulders to comfort him and they sat together huddled together until the storm had passed.

The mighty storm lasted 3 days and the 3 older children had managed to pick the mushrooms they found and had them in the building just before the worst of the storm happened. They had to remain in the school building, just with the rations of food they had. It was just as will as when the storm had passed, all the food had disappeared.

Chapter 5

Living on mushrooms

Most of the children were weakening with not enough food to eat. The oldest child Tuna who became very bossy orders the youngest about to keep on looking for mushrooms. Tuna had red hair in a bob type style and wear a red dress. Then as Tala the GC who was making more berries grow and replacing the crops once again. Tuna asked Tala, 'who is going to harvest the crops there are no adults yet, so it's no good keeping on making them grow, but you could make magic food though please!!!'
'I can only do it if I am doing nothing!!!' replied Tala.
'Okay in your own time.' Still a child she thought I should not have this worry, and then she suddenly realised she was 14 and old enough to harvest the crops and with the farming skill she inherited from her parents had an idea how to do it. Tuna had to do it several times until she got the hand of how it was done and gained more skill to Trainee Farmer.

Chapter 6

Hard Work for Tuna on her own

Tuna found it hard going trying to get enough food for 60 mouths to feed and she could not get enough food as each time she either put a fish or the crops in the food bin the food would get eaten and nothing for her to eat. It would be a full moon before one of her fellow villagers was old enough to work. Tala just by luck decided to create some magic food giving the villagers 150 foods. Tuna decided to eat some of the magic food before it was eaten by the others and felt better after she eaten, then she went back fishing again. Tuna by this time had reached the status of Adept Farmer.

One full moon later Kuka who was a half sister to Mina and Tuna also had the same hairstyle as Tuna and Mina, just turned 14 want to work straight away and had no problem harvesting the crops or foraging the berries and soon got the food bin filled a lot quicker to the relief of Tuna. Tuna decided to take a well earned rest and went to her favourite place under the palm tree on the beach to relax. Just as she was relaxing The Golden Child decided to make a party and knowing it was rude not to join in reluctantly joined the party to dance. Still not enough food yet to feed 60 mouths.

Chapter 7

A barrel of babies

Three dawns later Seven noticed a very large barrel bobbing on top of the waves in the ocean, so he went to inform Tuna who was the oldest and Tuna, Mina and Kuka dived into the ocean and retrieved the barrel and was surprise to find 3 toddlers who looked very hungry and had no idea where they where. Luckily enough they had now enough food to feed the 3 extra mouths. The 3 children were two females and one male. Tuna asked who they were and the oldest a male child said his name was Tomi and is age 4 and his sister who was age 3 was Vava and cousin was Amaci all three had black hair. After they had been fed all three children soon made friends and they always seem to giggle a lot.

Part 3

Chapter 8

Tuna longs for a baby

Tuna just turned 18, but there was no male old enough to mate as Ghali and Bobo were both 16 and Maui a master Doctor was just turned 15. Tuna was longing to have a child and she liked Maui, all she could do was dream knowing it would be 2 to 3 seasons before she had a child she longed for, so Tuna went back to farming.

Chapter 8

A day of celebration

Mina the youngest of the three girls who still age 17 reminded Tuna about Isola day and asked what they were going to do as the villagers in this tribe always want to their elders when they needed to know what to do. She said to Tuna 'what are we going to do for Isola day?'
'I don't know what our parents do?' Tuna feeling too big a responsibility at her age. Tuna longed for the old days when her parents were alive and teaching them in the ways of culture. Tuna missed them a lot. She was only 11 when her parents died and at this time, she wished for some one older to talk to. Then she remembered a special day when she was only 5 years old and her parents give each other presents and she remembered a small shiny pebble her parents give her. She had long ago lost it, before that she treasured that pebble for many seasons, but she cannot recall when it was lost. Then Tuna had an idea what they were going to do and she called a meeting of all the working villagers.

The villagers prepared the food and the place to celebrate would be at the idol as she had done a long time ago with her parents. They use to celebrate every season, but after all the adults had passed away many years ago, none of the villagers had thought about it been only children. Their only thoughts at the time were survival. Now there was plenty of food, more than enough to feed 63 villagers, it was time to celebrate Isola day. Tuna was determined to make it the best Isola day that no one would ever forget.

The day arrived and the villagers really enjoyed them selves, they danced feasted drank the juice that Tuna had made from the berries. The villagers the following day all want up to Tuna praising her on the good day she give them and she just said it was every ones contribution not just me.
Kuku said yes but they were your ideas that helped to put it all together.

Chapter 9

New baby triplets after a long wait.

Ghali had just turned 18 and old enough to father a baby and he liked Tuna, but Tuna kept running away telling him, I don't fancy you and besides I rather wait a bit longer. As in her mind she wanted Maui as she liked him but he was still only 17 and was prepared to wait. Then she thought what if Maui does not want me and she longed for a baby. After Ghali kept on moving to her embracing in the end gave in to him after all he was a Master Farmer and the tribe needed farmers, than doctors knowing that the GC always healed the villagers with his parties that also had magical auras of rainbows that healed all the villagers at one fell swoop. In the end Tuna fell for Ghali and she realised that his children would be good. Later she found she was a mother of triplets. What a lot of baby mouths to feed she thought and she went to care for her baby triplets. Tuna realised she would not be able to work now for 2 Isola years and then she noticed that her other female friends and her sisters had babies also. They congratulated her on her triplets, she was now 21.

Chapter 10

Tuna was 23 when her triplets were two Isola years old and they were boys who she named Vanui, Kupe and Rudo, they had black hair like their father and little Orla who was now 14 old enough to work and the population was now maxed at 90. Orla took up farming as the villagers did not need scientist any more as they had will advance in every thing many Isola years ago. She also took up building and gained her skills in building as there was at the moment plenty of food available to the villagers.

The measles epidemic

One of the children had the measles and the villagers who not realising that the pox was contagious all the children caught the pox, even Tala the GC became very ill, so he could not cure them with his party. The villagers realised they had no trained doctors, relying on little Tala to heal them with his parties, which was a big mistake. The tribe had to wait for the guiding hand to come on the screen, but it did not know when the guiding hand would be in. Orla tried to heal Tala but failed as she found the herbs she use had no affect and she was very concerned as she knew that diseases can weaken them till they die.

Help from above

After some of the villagers prayed to the spirit, a force began to control one or two villagers and it was like a spirit from above that guided some of the villagers to heal the children. Little Orla was guided to heal and after a few tries with different herbs found a cure and she gained some healing skills and became a Trainee Doctor, but she had a long way to go before she knew what herbs cured which illnesses. That when she decided to train to become a doctor and studied the medical cactus.

Tala who was healed after he chases the butterflies and dancing, decided to make a party to cure the rest of the children. Every one joined the party except the triplets as they did not like dancing, so went to chase butterflies and nature is calling or curious about the cactus instead. This did not affect them been healed as 2 of them were still sick, and the GC still able to cure them, which means the villagers don't need to like dancing to get cured.

The children were none the worst from their illness as they soon back to their normal selves running around the village. However there were some that were weakened after the sickness, but as they were children would soon grow stronger with nourishment and vitamins. That the berries give.

Chapter 11

Orla's mom and dad have a baby

Orla was now 18 and was old enough to have a baby, however as the population was at its peek and not enough housing to have more children she had to be content in looking after other mum's children, her parents made a mistake and mom had a baby two years ago and the baby was to remain a baby for ever. \:8 Orla wondered if there was something wrong with the baby and kept asking Ashby why, but Ashby had no idea what she was talking about and kept saying, she is very healthy and she needs a lot of care. Her father did not notice anything unusual either. Yet all the other members of the tribe did as they use to walk past them with a kind of simpathy which Orla did not like. Orla felt ashamed of her parents and she remembered something happened to her parents when she was very young, but was too young to remember what it was. She had a fade memory about some magical berries that she found and her parents who were very old took them off her and then something very strange happened to them (See chapter 1). After that Tuna looked after her and Tuna had become her best friend and taking the role as parent. Orla wanted to tell Tuna about how the others treated Ashby and to stop them gossiping as it hurt her a lot; especially the younger members of the tribe, that always make cruel jokes.

Orla asked Tuna why the members of the tribe were gossiping about Ashby and Nuru, and that she felt they were insulting her as will.
Tuna said, 'It is because they are afraid and so they are trying to cover their fears, by their gossiping, but they mean no harm, but I will have a word with them as I know it is upsetting you.'
Thank you, I am very grateful to you. Orla said.
'Don't mention it.' Tuna said kindly

Orla was grateful that she knew someone wise as Tuna and wished she was just as wise. A few days later the gossiping stopped about her parents and she thought that Tuna must have told them a thing or two. Orla was a Master Doctor and Adept Farmer and she liked fishing, but she always dedicated herself to healing as she was only one of the two doctors in the tribe, the other Master Doctor was Maui who was 7 years older age 25. Orla liked Maui, but with the oldest member of the tribe Tuna was now 27 and the youngest Tuna's triplets were age 4 with 18 other kids between the ages of 5 to 13. Tuna had named her triplets who were male; Kumi, kobbi and Kupe. In the tribe the villagers always named their twins or triplets starting with the same later at the beginning of their names and sometimes ending it with the same later ending. Tuna liked the name Kupe and named the youngest of her triplets the last born Kupe. They had red hair like their mom.

With the population at 92 Orla made a calculation that she would have to wait to have children until she was at least the earliest age 64, so she was doomed to be childless for the rest of her life, unless there was an event that took away a villager. She was hopping that she would be the one to leave the village and live somewhere else where there was enough housing to have a baby. Orla knew there was no chance of that ever happening, so Orla feeling a bit down \:\( decided to relax a lone under the palm tree. Then back to work again to take her mind off her longing.

Chapter 12

Orla longs to have a family

Orla was now turned 19 and wished to bring up children of her own, but she knew there was no chance of that ever happening. The population was still at 92 and not enough housing to bring another baby into the village. She was wishing that there maybe some other place she could set up a new home. Orla had heard that there were other shores on Isola as a long time ago a villager had come from some other shore to join their tribe. He was only 14 and a master farmer. She remembered her mother told her about him. But that was a long time ago when her mother was very young.

A chance encounter

Orla was a trainee doctor and she sometime studied the medical cactus, as she was studying the medical cactus, Nitis came to look at the cactus as he was curious about the medical cactus. Orla liked Nitis and Nitis liked her and he had a mop of black hair that Orla liked. Nitis also knew the situation of the population restrictions and wished there was something he could do. Then Nitis thought of a plan and put it to Orla 'We could still have children as I got an idea.'
Orla sounded shocked and said, 'what idea, what are you proposing, you cannot break the law.' \:o
Orla was even more shocked and was tempted at the idea after he told her about his plan. Nitis told her, we could leave this part of the island and find somewhere else to live.'
'You mean to leave Isola??? What!!!' \:o
'No' explained Nitis to find another shore that not many live and to start again and we could bring up a family.'
'It sounds like a nice idea, but where is there such a place? Asked Orla, I never heard of other shores, but though my mother told me about there have been visitors that have been here a long time ago.
'Have you ever read the symbols on the cave walls? Nitis asked.
No I never really took much noticed of the writings, why what do they say?
'Come' showing Orla the way, I'll show you and Orla followed his lead.

The writings on the wall

Orla could see now what the pictures on the cave walls were and to her it looked like a waterfall and two figures that were showing the way down, and she said it looks a bit dangerous as look it is like a warning. See this figure falling down.
'Yes I can see' said Nitis, but are you willing to take that chance?
Orla had to think about this and she thought that there was nothing here anymore and with Nitis who was 25 years old and she knew she would be daft not to take this opportunity offered to her after all he was a trainee builder and maybe his skill would be needed where ever the waterfall would lead them.

Chapter 13

Part 4
Stage 2

A new start

Orla and Nitis went to the lagoon where the instructions showed and the both found a pathway though the growth that led to another cave. The two of them with Nitis leading came to a stream and they followed it until they came to a cave wall that was covered in growth and Nitis pushed his way though the growth and he suddenly disappeared. Then she heard him give out a sudden yell and her to run forward and felt herself falling and her to give out a startled scream. Then they found themselves in a large lagoon that was much bigger and deeper than their own at the south shore. They managed to swim out of the pool and they found they were in some other part of Isola. Orla said this must be the West shore, see where the ocean is and as they were looking around, they noticed the place was not deserted. They could see some children that were hiding behind a large hut that looked like a building that scientist did their researchers and a large table out front with some primitive researched tools. Orla managed to persuade the frightened children from hiding behind the research hut. The children who decided that these adults were not going to hurt them came forward. There were five of them between the ages of 15 down to 4 years old and he asked who they were and he told them that they were lost children as they had lost their parents a few years ago.
Orla said, could you tell me your names after she told the children their names.
The older child a male said his name was Balun and he was 15 the other a Female who was the youngest age 4 name was Noa had red hair and she liked the ocean and fish a male age 9 was Top liked snakes but his dislikes were rocks, male also 12 Tobi a female with red hair tied in a pony tail, Mucha and a 13 disliked yellow.
Nitis said, 'will Orla you always wanted children now you got 5 orphans to look after now.'
'Yes I know, but I will not liking to say it out loud for the lost children to hear, 'I really wanted my own, so we could adopt them, but where are there parents?
We will think about that later now lets see what we can do to make it homely and the oldest child piped up, there is a place to make a fire and Balun showed Orla and Nitis where the fire pit was in the centre off the village. Nitis said I think we need some wood and Balun showed them where the wood pile was near past a broken down hut that was once used as a honeymoon hut that married couples went. The wood pile was near a very smelly place at the southwest of the shore and Nitis gathered some firewood and then he realised he had nothing to light it with and Balun suggested some dry grass that he showed him where to get it at the northwest of the island and when he went to get the dry grass he noticed the coconut trees, but had no idea how to get them realising he had to do some researching, but in the meantime, first things first to light the fire. Orla while Nitis was lighting a fire was wondering what food there was as there was not much left in the food bin and having some skill of farming decided to go fishing and she caught a fish and took it to the food bin and did some more fishing.

Nitis got a lovely fire going that was warm and cosy, but he knew they needed somewhere to sleep and he noticed an incomplete hut and he started to work on building it.

Balun decided to work on researching as he knew he was old enough to work and needed the tech points to go towards farming, they needed to find away to harvest the coconuts and at the moment only had 100 tech points. What was needed was 1500 tech points to fully research on harvesting the coconuts.

The children in the meantime went looking for mushrooms and one of them found a common collectable and was very please and he told the children to find more as they would help to added up the tech points. He told the children that the common collectables were worth 100 tech points. As they could be sold if they found another of the same type and put the collectable that was a red butterfly up on display. Little Noa was made up with finding her first collectable and did a little dance out side the research hut. And then she went off to play in the very narrow stream with her friends.

After working hard on the hut which was only managed to get 62% done as it was already half way there when he started to work on it and he realised that someone must of started on it but never got to finished it. Nitis decided to call it a day as it was getting late and he and Orla found somewhere to rest until morning. They both knew they had a lot of work to do if they wanted to make a success and how to find food as Orla had noticed that the sea was beginning to look polluted with algae and would be unfit for fishing very soon.

Balun was pleased of the progress he made with the tech points and with same collectables that was collected more than once by the children made the tech points. They made 1100 tech points and soon have enough towards farming. He called it a day and would make up the rest of the tech points the following morning. Balun retired. However they were still 400 short to buy farming. Orla and Nitis after a hard days work also retired early as they had a long day and would carry on with the work the following day.

Back at the South Shore

Tuna noticed that young Nitis and Orla had gone missing and she asked around where they where and no one had seen them. One of the male villagers who were now 14 said he found this parchment paper with something written on by the cave entrance.
What does it say asked Tuna, the male villager who was Seven said read it for your self and she took the note from him and found it was a note written by Orla saying;
Nitis and I have gone to find another part of Isola to live; Nitis thought it would be a good idea if we took the chance of a new life somewhere else as it was getting over crowded here. Please don't worry about us we be fine.
How could they do this? Okay I'm sure they will be okay.' Seven said. How could they just up and leave,' I must have failed them one way or another!!!'
'Look I'm sure they are okay.' Seven assumed.
'Yes I know! But how could they!! \:o replied Tuna.
'I don't know! I'm sure they are okay' repeated Seven.
Tuna getting frustrated, 'would you stop saying that, they could be dead for all we know.'
I'm sorry I was only trying to hel...
'I know, it just that.. oh what's the use they have gone and there is nothing I can do to bring them back,' Then she said will lets get back to work and maybe your right, they will be okay.'

Seven had a idea and he thought he could go after them, but then again he was too young at 14 and the elders will like Tuna was his elder to him been 29 was will old as he was still a teen. So maybe when he is older he might follow Nitis and Orla's path to another shore where ever that is.

Chapter 14

A barrel of babies

According to their status details Orla was now 23 and Nitis was 20, Orla was surprised after looking at the screen details that she was now 23 years old and Nitis was 20. Orla always thought that Nitis was older not younger, Then she realised there was another villager back in her old village called Nitis that was his cousin that he was 25 Isola years old, aright they both looked identical an easy mistake to make, but she did not want to let on she thought he was older.

A few days later as she was fishing as the sea was still clean to carry on fishing for a bit, she noticed a barrel floating on the waves, she informed Nitis and they both waded out to sea and found a 4 year old toddler with a note attached to him. It said his name is Wabu please look after him. Wabu was very hungry and Orla give him some food, there was not much food but she could not refuse to give him less only been age 4. Wabu had black hair and liked surprises.

Mucha had just turned 14 and wanted to start work and Orla been the oldest of the tribe said we need food, so how about fishing. Mucha taking the advice took to fishing and failed the first time but was very determined to catch a fish and her determination paid off as she caught a fish giving her a farming skill. The two females had to work very hard in catching the fish to feed 8 hungry mouths as the food kept getting eaten by the 4 hungry children. As every time they got 200 food it was eaten and it fell back to 100. After the two of them had caught so many fish and the children kept finding the mushrooms they had at least cumulated 400 to feed the tribe.

The children managed to find enough butterflies and shell collectables with the help of Balun making the tech points as he was now Adept Scientist. They now had 1518 tech points and Balun told Nitis Orla and Mucha who were now trainee farmers that the coconuts were ready to harvest with the help of the new technology found. Orla was the first to try out the Tools and was able to climb the tree and got a lovely round fresh coconut which was worth 2 of food each The coconut source for the villagers to harvest was 1500. Orla was pleased they had found how to harvest the coconuts and she said that these should keep us in food for a long time until we can find another food source.

In the meantime Orla wondered what the island had to cure different diseases and looked round the island at the different herbs and she studied them and leant what each one of them was for. Orla made a list of each one and soon had a complete list of what herbal remedy could cure. She then told the others on her finds and ,they thought this was a course for a celebration and they all came to the centre of the village to give a small celebration and had a blend of juicy berries made into a sweet drink that was suitable for all. Then all back to their jobs.

After the 2 females had harvest so many coconuts, Orla decided to have a look at the dry field and she wondered that maybe they could grow crops here, but how to water the field was the next problem to solve and she asked Nitis who was a Adept Builder already about it, 'How will we get water to this field?' and Nitis said We could build a dam, the only thing we don't have the tools yet.'
'So we need to do more research?' Orla asked.
'I believe so, yes,'
'Okay' her old saying, 'first things first.'

Orla decided to go on to do researching and after a few unsuccessful finely made her first experiment that earned her 1 tech points and she thought Oh well every little helps. And tried another experiment hoping to gain more points for her affects. As Orla was researching, she decided to go one better by using fire in her next experiment which was not a very good idea as she injures her hand that lost her some health and she felt a bit sick with the pain. Balun told her to put something on the burn and she found some herbs and mixed them into a past and rubbed it into the burn. That eases the pain a lot.

Later Orla noticed a very large wooden box washed up on the beach and she told Nitis about it been a builder. He examined the box but had no idea how to open it and said 'we need some one with more expertise to open this box . I just have to do more researching on this and it looks like it would take at least three Master builders to open this.'

'Right' said Orla wondering what it might contain, must be something valuable for it to be hard to open.'

Orla in spite of her sore arm went back on researching as the villagers needed the tech points to buy stuff for survival in the coming months

Chapter 15

Orla and Balun carried on researching and the children were doing will in finding the mushrooms and the collectable and Mucha harvest the coconuts. Soon there was food available to the tribe was 1000. But the children still found the mushrooms to keep the food up and Mucha still harvest the coconuts.

In the meantime Nitis carried on building a new hut that was 96% completed. Balun and Orla soon had 5000 tech points to buy construction and the builder were able to work on the dam, but Nitis said that the hut was nearly finish and said he would work on the dam then. It took Nitis an hour to finish the hut, and he informed every one that the hut was finish and were able to raise the population. All 8 villagers came to the centre of the village to celebrate and congratulated Nitis for completing the hut alone. They all want back to work and Nitis decided that he would have something to eat and relax a bit before working on the dam.

Later Nitis started work on the dam and Orla and Balun carried on researching, the next hurdle was to make 16000pt towards science, and then another 20000pts for medicine so that they could improve their life span, as they could not do anything else now until the dam was done and the villagers were hoping that the coconuts would hold out until then.

Orla has a baby

Now that the villagers had 1500 food now and Orla been the age of 24 thought it was time to have a baby that she had longed for. Nitis also wanted a baby and so they went indoors, in the broken down honeymoon hut. They both laugh about the state of what it was in, but at least it gives them some privacy. Orla had a baby now and would have to look after it now for two Isola years. It had lovely blue eyes and a sweet smile. The same in her own home she would not name the baby until it was 2 Isola years old. Nitis want back doing his researching while Orla nursed her baby. Orla was now a Trainee parent as will as an Adept Scientist. She also had healing added to her skills.

In the meantime Tobi had just turned 14 and was old enough to work, he was caught sitting in the centre of the village not sure what to do, so he asked the guiding hand to help him choose a job. He was persuaded to help and build a dam and with the help of Nitis. He soon became a trainee builder. However, Tobi got bored with building and he felt he did not get on well with Nitis as he was always going on at him for making mistakes. After awhile and he just skives off saying this job is so boring. Orla noticed him and told him off and she said, 'If you're so bored Tobi, and we can't afford to have skivers in this village as every available hands are needed if we are to survive, so why don't you try researching, Balun well show you the ropes. Tobi was upset the adult villagers always finding fault all the time and feeling he was been criticize said, 'Alright don't be like that, I'll do researching then. Tobi preferred to work with Balun as he had known him all his life and always got on well together and Balun said, Sure I will show you what to do and with the help of Balun, as his monitor soon found he liked researching better than building.

Balun give Tobi some advice telling him if it was not for the two adults that came to the village, I don't think we would of survived much longer and remember they are only trying to help, and they are under as much stress as we are. 'Tobi remember what your parents said before they went missing, No matter what happens they always want the best for you. Your only still 14 and I know you're missing them and the reason you don't trust the strangers is you think they are trying to take the place of your parents, but they would never try to take your parents place. All they want to do is to help and make this place better for us.' So please Tobi for all our sakes try and accept them, even if you don't trust them now, I'm sure you find a place in your heart.'
Tobi said, I will try, but they are not my parents and I can't help my feelings towards them.'
Balun said, 'I understand and in time you will learn to accept them.'

Balun knew that he was the same when he was 14 and he too was angry about his parents leaving them, but now he was 16 and accepted the situation they were in after all he had to grow up fast and look after them and he was pleased that two older adults had joined them but Tobi was a very sensitive child been the middle one and he always stuck by him, when they were alone. He also seemed to show his feelings more, while he had to hide his as he did not want to alarm his younger siblings. He was relived when two other adults came giving him less responsibility.

Balun and Tobi worked well to gather and Balun soon become a Master Scientist and he found that Tobi was doing really well on researching and soon was Adept Scientist, even after some failed attempts he stuck at it. Balun suggested Tobi try to go help with the dam again, because they really needed it done, and he was the only other worker with building skills. Tobi asked what if Nitis is mad at me for quitting? Balun told him to go talk to Nitis about it. Nitis said he wasn't mad, that Tobi was young and had to decided what he wanted to do. He told Tobi he would be glad to have help finishing the dam, but only if he wanted to.
Tobi strangely felt better and realized that Nitis was not bad even if he did seem old to him and began to like him after all. Then he started asking questions what was it like at the South Shore and Nitis told him about the GC, who always making parties, but apart from that he told Tobi he had his good points as he could make magic food and make the crops grow. Tobi said, 'we could do with someone here to create magic food and that. Wow you were lucky, so why did you went to come here for? I mean there is nothing here look at the place.
It was Orla that wanted a changed and I wanted adventure so we agreed to find somewhere else. As you know it is not always a bed of roses where we came from, as we had real mighty storms that blow away all the food, after all our hard work.
Tobi said, 'Oh that was not good at all.'
'I know,' said Nitis and he told Tobi of the time when all their parents died of old age and like you had to survive on their own, he told him that their were 60 of us. He told him about Tuna who was their Heroine that kept them going.

After Nitis talked about old times found it was getting late and if he wanted to after he been to work on researching tomorrow could help him to finish the dam and tell you some more stories.'
Tobi said 'I'd like that.' Then they both departed. Tobi wanted to here more of Nitis's stories where he came from.

They had now completed 34% of the dam and the scientists had made enough tech points towards researching and had more materials to work with that would double production. All the villagers were very please with the progress they had made and it was time to relax.

Chapter 16

Noa who was now age 5 found a rare butterfly on the beach, which would have made the butterfly collection complete. Alas she tripped over the scaffolding that had been put up and lost it. \:o Noa was very upset about this and runaway to the end of the village to be alone by an overflow of water at the south end of the island. Noa was afraid that the guiding Hand \:8 might punished her for losing such a rare item. Wabu came and joined her and she said, 'Go away, I don't want you here,'
'Why'. \:o Asked Wabu who was still only 5 nearly 6.
'I said go away Wabu, I don't want the guiding hand to see me,'
'Why what did you do?' \:o
'Leave me alone!!' and she got up and runaway to the other end of the shore.
\:o Wabu was wondering if he had upset her and felt confused, so he ran after her calling, 'Noa, Noa don't runaway.' Half way across she stopped and waited for Wabu and looking round her to see if a guiding hand was about.

Noa decided to come clean and told him about finding a rare butterfly that they had been looking for weeks and she let it go. 'Oh no Wabu explained,' \:o that is not good.'
'So you think I'm bad?' \:\(
'No I don't think your bad just clumsy. May be if you ask the guiding hand, you might get off lightly. Then Noa thought and said I beg the guiding hand, to forgive me. I'm sorry I lost the rare collectible. The guiding hand knew what she had done, but wanted to teach her to be careful in the future. It put Noa on the part of the land where she had to stay for 10 minutes. Noa tried to move from the spot but could not and she thought to her self that. The punishment was not as bad as she was heard from the grown ups. It was not long then she was freed.

She then noticed that later she was not chosen to pick up the items as it was Wabu or Top that found the items. She decided that she wanted to prove, she was not clumsy and every time an item appeared she made sure she was nearby, so she could be the one to get it and it worked and to her delight she was chosen to take the item to the scientists and she never dropped it this time.

In the meantime Nitis was working on the dam and Tobi stayed on researching as Balun said now they badly needed the tech points towards medicine. Tobi wanted to help on the dam but since he was Adept scientist and needed to generate the tech points towards the medicines badly needed, had to stay researching. He knew why he wanted to work on the dam, was he wanted to listen to more of Nitis's stories where he came from and he wondered if it was that reason that Balun made him stay to researching. He might have slowed down production on the dam, but then again, they got a third of the way there and he thought they have done well. Balun said he was pleased at the progress made and then he thought, he might be allowed to work on the dam later.

Several hours later and Tobi noticed it was getting late and found he was disappointed not hearing more of Nitis's stories, however he was glad that they had done well on researching and had just over 15000pts towards medicine and maybe make up the rest very soon and Nitis had completed 64% on the dam. So the tribe called it a day.

Chapter 17

Nitis carried on working on the dam and Balun still worked on researching for a while. Then he decided to help Nitis on the dam and he told him more stories about where he came from and how, it got over crowded and most of the females were not allowed to have any more children and this was the main reason why the left the south shore. As they had completed 72% on the dam and had a few more tech points to buy medicine went back on to researching. The children continued to find the collectibles for the scientists.

Little Top who was now 7 years old was feeling a bit down \:\( and went to the place to be alone. He was missing his parents and he was longing to see his mom again, but he knew she was not coming back. Then a little girl joined him, and he noticed that she was really pretty, she had long dark brown hair and blue eyes and she wore a band round her hair. She was Orla's daughter and only just had her second birthday and now she had to fend for herself, and she too felt a bit lonely as her mom went on to having another baby. \:\( Top asked her name and she said, 'My name is Laurence,' \:\)
'That's a nice name.' \:\)
'My mom said it is French.'
Then Top said, 'How would you like to play tag,' and he tagged her and said, 'your It.'
Laurence run after him saying 'I'm going to get you. Then he called out to Noa and Wabu, saying run 'Laurence is It,' All the children all ran as fast as they could around the shore and Laurence only been small had to force legs to catch up and try to tag one of them,' Then Laurence thought of a ploy to catch one of them and as Wabu had not noticed Laurence creep up on him and before he knew it, Laurence tag him and she called out, 'Wabu your IT,' Then she laughed and giggled as he said, 'Oh no, right I'm going to get you,'
Laurence said, 'Oh, no you won't.' And ran away as fast as she could from him.
After awhile the kids got tired of playing tag and went on to playing their on little games and exploring the island. Laurence was curious about the strange flowers and was interested in the construction of the dam and liked watching the scientist work and she thought that when she grew up she might be a scientist. Laurence liked finding the items for the scientist. As Laurence was playing in the very narrow stream getting her feet wet and her dress. Failed to see the rare butterfly, as Wabu who was now 7 got to it first completing the butterfly collection. The scientist were very please with the children for finding all the butterflies and give them all a treat. Now Balun told the children that they can build more huts and be able to have 5 extra people to live in the village.

The scientists after so many moons had made enough tech points to buy the second level of medicine and now improved the villager's life span as they would be healthy for a longer time now. However, they still needed to explore more to a higher level in medicine if they wanted to live beyond their 60 years. At the moment, they were still young and Orla was now 26 years old and Nitis was now 23 Balun was now 17 and would soon be 18, old enough to be a parent and to tell children stories. As Orla was still a Trainee Parent and not got the statues to teach the children, would have to be more involved in parenting. Orla was not far off from becoming Adept, but at the moment Orla was now nursing a baby, and could do nothing else until the baby was age two. This raised the population to 9.

Nitis after an evening with Orla, went back to try and complete the dam, he had been working on it every day for several moons and so far it was 75% completed and as there was food available to villagers was 1919, that the villagers thought it best to leave the coconuts and to carry on researching and the children kept finding the mushrooms that kept the food over and above that. There were still 1220 coconuts still to harvest. Laurence did not like coconuts, so all she ate was the mushrooms they found and some fish that the villagers, shared out evenly a small portion a day. Orla was worried about Laurence not liking coconuts as there was not much else to eat, but she knew the dam would soon be finished so that her daughter would get some greens.

Orla kept on asking how far off you are on the dam. He kept saying, it won't be ready for a while yet, but if I have more labor, the dam will be finished a lot sooner. Tobi promised that he will help as they had got more medicines, the following day. Tobi knew about Laurence's eating habits and tried to disguise some of the coconut peaces in with some of the mushrooms, but she would know and say, 'I'm not eating that, it's got coconut in it Yuk.'
'You can't be fooled Laurence, I can see that, but please for my sake and your mommy's sake, try and eat some of it.' Tobi said But Laurence was persistent and refused to eat the coconuts and she and she would run away every time someone tried to give her coconuts to eat. In the end the adults had to gave up, and hopefully that when the dam is finished and be able to give Laurence more variety of diet.

Chapter 18

Orla's baby was now just 2 and she named her Kissa and Laurence was now age 5.

Nitis was almost done with completing the dam. Laurence was watching her dad building it while little Noa was still playing in the very narrow stream, that did not seem to be narrow any more as she found the water getting deeper and deeper. \:8

In the meantime Nitis failed to notice that Noa was stuck and put the last peace of wood in to secure and he told Laurence to tell mom that the dam was finished and would be able to grow crops with the water flowing onto the soil. After Laurence told her mom the dam was complete and she called all the others and every one came running. The children were Singing, The dam is complete, hooray, \:D hooray, \:D and the adults all joined in. The dam is complete HOORAY, \:D HOORAY, \:D YEA, \:D YEA, and THE DAM IS FINISHED, HOORAY, \:D HOORAY, \:D HOOT, and HOOT, \:D BRAVO called out Laurence, \:D THE DAM IS COMPLETE. \:D Suddenly Laurence noticed that Noa was missing and wondered where she was and thought she wouldn't miss this?

Nitis said right now the celebrations are over it's time to be getting back to work now and you Top get some seed to plant and Mucha who was adept farmer planted the seeds and as soon as she planted the seeds the birds would land on the soil and start eating them, \:8 she triad chasing them off and even the children kept trying to chase them off, but the birds kept coming back. Mucha thought that, we need something to scare the birds away, any idea's children and Kissa and Laurence, said a scarecrow. Yes that is an idea a scarecrow and Mucha went to at the top of the land near the thorny bushes where there was some twisted wood growing and she made some arms and got a large turnip for the head and put some black peddles for the eyes and month. She found some old rags to put round the sticks that stuck outwards. And after it was finished, the children thought that it looked like a really scary scarecrow. That would keep away those pesky birds. The children once again, started celebrating saying, HOORAY, \:D HOORAY WE SCARE AWAY THOSE PESKY BIRDS, \:D HOOT, \:D HOOT. The adults came running over wondering what all the excitement was about and saw the ugly looking and scary scarecrow, and they to cheered. As they were celebrating they failed to notice that Noa was not with them. Nitis started to repair the hut on the beach.

Noa found the only way she could not get out of the flowing water \:o and she tried calling for help and wondered why no one had seen her. Then she noticed Laurence and she called out but the wind kept blowing her voice in another direction. Then she saw Kissa running to look at the ancient place and she called out, Kissa and the wind just by luck was blowing in the right place.

In the meantime Kissa wanted to explore the ancient place and as she was running she thought she heard someone calling her name and she looked round her, but saw no one there and she carried on exploring the ancient place and then she head her name been called again and it sounded like Noa's voice and she called out, 'Is that you Noa I can't see you?' She heard Noa's voice again, shouting help me, Help,' Kissa realised that Noa was in trouble \:o and she called out, 'WHERE ARE YOU?'
She heard, 'I'm over here on this strip of land,' Kissa looked over and saw Noa just hanging on, \:o 'EER, HOW DID YOU GET THERE ?' \:o DON'T MOVE I GET THE GROWNUPS, and she ran to get Nitis telling him that Noa was tripped and he came running, \:o \:o \:o and he got the other males to rescue Noa, The males told Noa to hold on and that they were coming to rescue her and the way they did this was, the strongest one waded through the creek and put her on his shoulders. When they reached dry land, they heard a great cheer go up and he noticed that all the villagers had gathered together to see the heroic rescue of little Noa \:D \:D \:D After Noa's ordeal a few days later she was back to her normal self. \:\/

Mucha decided it is time to have a baby

Mucha was 19 years old and decided it was time to have a baby and the guiding hand did some match making with Tobi and she had her first baby after going in the hut. Nitis was now a master builder and since they needed 3 master builders to open the very large box on the beach, so decided that Tobi would finish repairing the hut on the beach and Nitis would attempt to at researching. After several tries managed to succeed at some of the experiments. After awhile when he had been succeeding at a few simple experiments he soon had the statues as a trainee scientist. They needed to make more tech points to buy medicine, if they wanted to live beyond their 60ties. So they needed to have 65000pts and so far had made over 20000pts. So had a long way to go. Orla was now 29. And was with her 3rd baby.

The fastest runner event

Tobi as he was working on the hut on the beach found he sometimes exercise by running round the village and one day he thought he could run very fast and he wanted to organized a race to prove he was the fastest runner, the villagers knew he could run fast when he wanted to, but his fragile ego was better known and so they agreed he could run very fast. Letting him have his pride, and after this Tobi now liked running a lot more, and became the villagers runner. As Tobi was running every where and running round repairing the hut on the beach, the hut was completed in less time. It was completed just as Mucha's and Orla’s babies were 2 years old males names were Pepe Orla's son and Obi Mucha's son were able to celebrate the new honeymoon hut, the villagers decorated it with flowers and as it looked so lovely on the beach. Orla was the first to use it and give birth to another baby and a week later Mucha her second baby, The only thing Nitis was the father of Mucha's new baby. This brought the population to 13.

Tobi the runner thought it was time to build a new hut as the villagers found that only one hut was not enough room for the new arrivals of new babies and it was getting very crowded now. The builders made the foundations where it was going to be which was near the beach a few feet from the side of the first hut that was a few feet from the research hut. Soon Tobi working very fast on it was now 28% completed this took a couple of moons to get this far. Noa and Wabu were 12 Isola years old and Laurence was 7 and her sister Kissa was now 5 and the 2 little boys were now still 2 nearly 3. Orla was 32, Nitis 29, Balun 23 Mucha 22, Tobi 21 and Top 17. The scientist had made 31967pts and the food available to villagers was 2092 and still plenty of coconuts and crops to harvest.

Another thing the children had now completed the shell collection and now the population can be raised by 5 and once again the children were given a treat which made them more determined to complete the pebble collection and Obi found a rare pebble and Pepe found an uncommon one which the children needed to find just one more rare collectible to complete the collection. The children had not found any of the bugs yet, but may be when the thorns are cut, they might find some.

Chapter nineteen

The villagers were board decided to take a break from work and they dived into the, pond. They had completed the first 60 percent of the hut. Noa was twelve years old now and liked running around and also like to play tag, now that there were a few more children, so they played it more often. Now tag was now the children's favorite game. In the end that the children had outplayed tag and was now trying to reach the coconuts.

The scientists had made over 4,000 tech points and needed over 2,500 points to fully research medicine, if the villages wanted to expand their lives. The Villages wanted to get rid of the algae in the ocean so that they could fish. However there was plenty of crops to harvest and coconuts and food was available to the villagers was over 2000 so there was no hurry. The village doctors wanted the medicine as it was the most important to keep away disease and sickness as some of the villagers always seem to get sick and weakened, especially those that worked on researching.

In the meantime the next thing the children were interested in construction of the new hut which was now 75% completed it would not be long before they can have more babies. The Builders had been working hard that they and decided to call it a night so they might complete the hut the following day. So far they have made 5,000 tech points to medicine.

The next day
The children kept looking for pebbles and the butterfly and the shells how Ever they still not found the last Pebble as they fully search for it at the ancient ruins. However the scientist said, We're very pleased With the children's progress of finding the items as it rise the tech points and soon the villages would have enough to buy medicine for as they already achieved 5,500 points to buy medicine. Get they needed to get another 1,000 tech points to upgrade medicine and also they needed to upgrade farming as well as construction. Tobi was almost a Master builder and needed another Master builder to open the box on the beach. At the moment villages had two builders In the Village.

Noa finds the rare new pebble
Noa was 13 and she was feeling lonely so she went to sit by the ancient ruins and she noticed something with yellow strips on the ground and she realized it must be a new rare pebble, so she picked it up and carefully carried this rare item to the scientists and she put it in the display cabinet. The scientists were very pleased that the children had found and completed the pebble collection and give all the children a treat. Now the villagers had 3 completed collectables and had a blue butterfly, a red star shell and a pebble on the roof of the science hut. The only one missing from the science hut was beetles, as the thorns had not been cutaway yet, it be awhile before the children would find any, anytime soon. So now the village could now have more huts.

The villagers carried on with their jobs and the scientist doing their researching, Tobi the runner worked hard building a new hut which was 97% the last time was looked.
When suddenly there was a shout by Tobi, 'Hay everybody the hut is finished.' All the villagers came running over and saw that Tobi had built a good and stable hut that would housed more people. They all celebrated this, all dancing and cheering on the beach. One hour later they all went back to work. Mucha and Orla's babies had just age 2, Orla had a son and she named him Hung and Mucha had a girl who she named Chimba.

Noa and Wabu had just had their 14th birthdays and were ready to start work. Noa decided to go to work on science as they needed to get the tech points and since Wabu had some skill in medicine decided to study medicine and this was to examine some of the herbs on the island.

In the meantime Orla went indoors with Nitis and came out with a baby and then Mucha also had a baby at the same time with Tobi and both moms showed the baby the ocean. The population had now 16.

With the help of an extra hand on researching and the children finding multiple collectables soon had the 65000 to buy medicine and now that medicine was fully researched, the next target was to get the next level in farming which needed 9,0000 tech points.

Little Pepe plays a trick to the guiding hand

Little Pepe was running around on the beach dancing and he thought he would pretend he was stuck on the hut and it seemed to have worked as he looked like he had climbed onto the hut. He did the usual dancing on the top then turned to go to trying to reach the coconuts. Then the guiding hand who saw him at the same time saw a shell on the beach and got Chimba quickly to take the item to the scientist, and when the guiding hand got back to rescue Pepe found that he had got down all by himself, which was very strange and still wondered how he was back on the beach. The guiding hand had taken a picture of him on the roof. It was later when the Guiding hand saw another adult near the hut realized that he must of help Pepe from the hut or it was illusion of him on the hut and he was not stuck at all. The guiding Hand was beginning to wonder about these villagers now were becoming more apt to getting themselves out of sticky situations without it's help hmm.

Chapter 20

The villagers had enough to get level 2 of Exploration that would enable the children to find the collectables a lot quicker. One of the villagers saw a cauldron in the wood pile and retrieved thinking this would be good for cooking stews in. Then the villagers collected some herbs round the island and added them to the pot and added water and food. Soon the hot stew was ready and the villagers celebrated that now they could eat something warm during the cold nights. The first stew they made was a healthy stew that made them feel healthier. Then the villagers experimented with an other stew of 3 of the red flowers herbs and this give the villager's energy and wanted to exercise, which sometimes improved in construction if they were successful.

Nitis was looking at the briers and he thought that they needed something to clear them with. He had a word with Balun who was a master scientist and he looked at some special stones and he started to sharpen them and then he got some special wood and made them into grips for the villagers to hold to finish the product and then he informed the villagers that he and his fellow master scientists had made the cutting tools to cutaway the briars. The villagers were made up with the new cutting tools and some said they could also be used to spike the fish with. The villagers had a celebration with this and they were looking forward to trying them out. Before they could use the cutting tools, the villagers had to have more research in level 3 in construction. The villagers needed 75000 tech points. So far the scientist had produced 17000 tech points, which is a way to go yet.

Tobi had the knack of harvesting invisible coconuts. The guiding Hand when it looked in on the villagers would catch Tobi going to the food bin harvesting the coconuts and did not seem to be carrying one, yet as soon as Tobi dropped it in the food bin the food would go up by 2 and coconut source would drop by 2. Tobi did this trick every day and soon it was Tobi's party trick.

Tobi made some more hut stews and the first one was a healthy stew, but the next two he made were both nasty un-edible, no I stew was the 1 black string of herbs 2 blue rose and the light brown north-south part past the coconut trees, which made the healthy stew that give off glittery stars. The second un-edible stews, 1 of the black vine, 2 the red flower, 3 the blue flower. The third was 1 black vine, 2 the red flower orange flower. Tobi thought he have to try another recipe as the last two were not good. Also he knew that there must be a stew that would help them to retrieve the object at the bottom of the pond. Tobi decided to leave it for now and try experimenting at a later time.

Chapter 21

Tobi after he experimented with a few more herbs discovered the one he wanted. The herbs that he used were 1 of the black vine and two of the blue flower that helps him holds his breath for a very long time. Tobi dived deeply into the pond and retrieved the artefact that had been lying at the bottom of the pond for a long time. The scientist examined the artefact and found that it was one quarter peace of the gong, and the villagers thought this was a case to celebrate. Now the only thing was the villagers knew there were still 3 missing peaces to be found.

The villagers went back to work after celebrating and Tobi made another stew that all the villagers would enjoy as it was a cold day. It was a healthy stew the one that give out rainbows. All the villagers all sat around eating the stew when ever they wanted to.

The children had to be encouraged to eat by the guiding hand as they mostly liked to play rather than eat. The children now and again found the items for the scientist and the scientist work hard at rising the tech points. The foods available to villagers were 3005 which was good.

Mucha baby had just turned 2 and she decided to name her Napuka. Napuka had short brown hair and like dancing. Soon Mucha want embracing again and ended up with another baby bringing the population to 18.

Construction is fully researched
The scientist found they had made enough tech points to buy more construction and now had enough materials to build a hospital and had the knowledge to cut down the briers and Tobi got to work on cutting the briers while Noa worked on building a hospital. The farmers continued to harvest the crops that made food available over 3600. Noa was now a trainee builder now and she had a way to go before she would master this skill as she was 17. The guiding hand thought that if she was going to have a baby, then would need to train a male to become a master builder to get 3 master builders to open the box on the beach. The only male who had building skills was 7 year old Obi. So Wabu who had no building skill had to be trained and so was put to cutting away the brier thorns. After he had several failed attempts after trying to cut the briers finely improved in construction. Since the villagers don’t want to raise the population too fast, the guiding hand after Mucha has finished nursing her baby would go back to researching and Orla will carry on having babies until she is a master parent and then will let Noa have a baby later on.

The next target was to research culture which needed 20,000 tech points for level 2 and then level 3. Save for first had to get level two.

Chapter 21
Mucha did have another child who was a little boy who she named Tomal who had red hair like his mom and at the same time Orla named her son Guapi had brown hair.

Tobi becomes an Esteemed Elder

Tobi had already mastered 2 skills in building and science and almost master in farming. After watering the crops, Tobi realised he had also become a master farmer. The villagers thought he deserved the rank of an elder and made a totem and engraved his name on it. The villagers celebrated with Tobi for becoming the villagers first Esteemed Elder and congratulated him for mastering the 3 skills. Tobi was only 27 and the youngest elder to get this rank and thought he was a real prodigy and they were very proud to have this young male in their tribe and they hoped that others would follow his success in the future.

Laurence was now 13 and was looking forward to her 14th birthday and kept telling every body she would be 14 soon. She thought that as soon as she is 14 she would help to remove the thorny briers as she would watch the builders cutting them away. Laurence always made sure she kept her distance as she watched so she would not get in the way. As she was watching one of the children called out lets play tag and she ran off to join them running round the village in the tag game.

The scientists decided to hold on to the tech points until they got enough for second and third level in culture, a round 10,000pts and then they would have a choice whether to buy farming in case the food run out, or culture if they have plenty of food in the bin. The tribe knew bad events could happen that would use up the food and leaving them none. This is why the scientist kept their options open. So far the tribe had it good and when one of them mentioned this to Tobi who was the youngest elder thought this was a wise idea and kept his fingers crossed so that a bad event would not happen to steal the food or technology. He hoped that the guiding hand who had control of their lives would keep with them, so that the events would not happen too soon and the children would get the items quickly. The guiding hand promised that, he/she would keep them in pause when he or she is away, encase a bad event might happen. While they work hard at gaining them points the scientists should make enough tech points and the children find the collectables in time. The tribe so far had just one bad event when they woke one morning to a soupy fog and was shocked that some food had been stolen. Luckily enough just 200 food was gone so the tribe still had 2880 food instead of the 3080. So the villagers did not worry about it and got on with their jobs.

The builders had cleared 32% of the thorny briers and Noa had completed 18% of the hospital as this had helped her to reach the status of adept builder. The tribe now had 2 master builders and 2 adept builders.

As all this was going on Orla had another baby bringing the population to 19.

Chapter 23

Nitis becomes an Esteemed Elder

Laurence had just turned 14 and started work on clearing the thorny briers which was already cleared 84%. And with the help of the other villagers would soon be cleared. Nitis was working on the fields when he found he had now realised he had mastered 3 skills which was builder, farmer and scientist and the villagers made him a totem in his name. They decided to cave it in the same design as Tobi’s as they knew he liked the design and always admired it as he use to go to it prising it. Now he had one of his own to admire. The villagers and Nitis’s wife Orla congratulated him and Orla gave him a special present which he was very pleased. Nitis was 37 ten years older than Tobi, but then Tobi was the villager’s runner and that is why he got his a lot younger.

The celebrations over and done with, all went back to work, Nitis working with his daughter to clear the briers and he was very proud of his daughter Laurence as she was growing up to be a beautiful young woman and one day she would turn heads of the male villagers. The scientist worked hard at getting the tech points and the children found the collectables and mushrooms.

Another piece of the gong is discovered

The guiding hand found there was now 3 master builders and asked them if they could try and open the wooden create on the beach. The builders who were Nitis, Tobi and Wabu, Wabu the last one who had just become a master builder after working hard on clearing the briers. They succeeded in finely opening the box after trying for many weeks. Tobi who was the fastest runner took the piece of the gong to the science hut and the villagers once again celebrated finding the second piece of the gong of wonder.

The gong encasement is revealed

It wasn’t long after; the villagers had another cause to celebrate when after all the briers were cleared could see another piece of the gong and saw that what was hidden was the place to put the piece and it fitted perfectly and the villagers placed the other two pieces in place and as they did so it gave off some sparkles that died away as it was not wholly complete. But this did not prevent the villagers from celebrating as they danced and jumped in the air as villagers do when they celebrate.

Culture is fully researched

The scientists found they had just over 10,000 tech points after one of the children found a rare collectable and decided to ask the guiding hand to purchase culture and agreed and bought the second level of culture, but found was 4995pts short to buy the third level as the villagers had 80,005 points and needed 85000. So the villagers got to work looking for the collectables for the children to take to the scientists. As the guiding hand scanned though the village the rest of the villagers got to work on watering the field, crops and the builders helping Noa to build the hospital which was now 50% completed as the construction shot up. Within 10 minutes soon got the last 5000pts and was able to buy level 3 of culture. The villagers got to work on cutting away the vines and scraping away the moss on the ancient place, but this did not stop them from building the hospital, as after the guiding hand noticed was now 79% complete. The villagers had much to do.

Orla name her baby after she was two Bindi and soon she and Nitis had another baby bringing the population to 20.

After the second level of culture was researched, the villagers had enough materials to build a clothing hut. However since the clothing hut was not as important as the hospital decided to put to one side to later. After all at the moment needed room to exercise. The villagers needed to keep fit to be builders.

The children after all the briers were cleared were finding bugs like colourful beetles of different types. The first one found was a common the second was uncommon and the third one was a rare one all one after another. It wasn’t long before they had in the collection the 4 common and three uncommon and the one rare bug.

So far the builders had now completed 83% of the hospital and 4% of the vines. With all the hard work the villagers had done Tobi decided to make the villagers an energy stew to give them more energy which was 3 parts of the red flower herbs and soon most of the villagers were invited to partake in enjoying the stew that Tobi had made. All the villagers that ate the stew ran round the village exercising or went for a fast swim exercise. Some of the children who also ate the stew also exercise and one or two of the children decided to go paddling in the waves running though them until the exercise stew wore off and went off to play.

Chapter 24

The builders completed the hospital

The builders were working hard on the hospital that was now 98 percent and so the others who were working on farming came to help and soon put the last finishing touches to the hospital and put in a bed and other things for a patents comfort, when they were sick. Then the builders gave out the news that the hospital was ready to open and Nitis cut the cord and announce this hospital open. All the villagers celebrated the new hospital and with the new medicines would mean that the villagers would be sick less often.

The children found nearly all the bug collectables bar one. It was the one missing a very rare one that would complete the collection in the bottom right corner. They knew which one it was, but it failed to show up.

Orla had a little girl who she named Puya and she had short dark brown hair. The children as the usual inaction, to welcome the new arrival in the children’s tribal low, like it was with Laurence, the first born into the tribe, Puya had to be ‘It’ in the tag game. This happened with all new arrivals in the this village, if they wanted to be part of the under 14s children’s tribe. This was an idea that Tobi had initiated when he was a child and the children had kept this going now for many Isola years in each generation. Like her older sister, she too had to run as fast as she could to catch up with her older siblings. Like others who went though the same test, proved herself to be worthy of the under 14s children’s tribe, that she could be strong and fast. The children then welcomed her into their tribe.

The adults were always working and two of them worked on farming and two on researching and the rest on cutting away the vines and scraping away the moss on the ancient ruins. Nitis thought it was a good idea to use water to make it easier to move the moss. The other builders were giving him funny looks, but Nitis just ignored them and kept on with his idea. ‘He just said to them, I don’t know why you’re making it hard on your selves, it’s much easier with water.’ Laurence had to agree with him been her dad and realised he was right as she noticed that he had scraped off quite a bit of moss, as he had removed about 8%. That brought that 30% had been scraped away. After he done a good job of removing the moss. Then decides to water the crops with the same water. The builders had removed 78% of the vines.

Later Orla wanted another baby and Nitis and Orla went indoors and once again the stork brought a baby bringing the population to 21.

Before the crops still away to go before they were ready the guiding hand guided two of the farmers to fish as the ocean was still good and Nitis with his spire saw a crab and caught it with his spire. The other farmers also found crabs in the ocean. After they caught a number of fish saw it was now harvest time. The crops were ready to harvest and there were now 30 coconuts to harvest, so the farmers set to work to harvest the coconuts first before harvesting the crops. Sometime the farmers would climb the same tree as sometime more grew on one tree than the other. It was like they would climb over each other looking from a distance. But if you were living in the village it self, would see that there was plenty of room for three or four to share the same tree looking a lot closer.

The mushrooms seem to grow a lot more during the harvest season as the children kept finding them

Chapter 25

Kissa had just reached he 14th birthday and since she already had a skill in science took up researching. In 2 Isola years later Pepe had his 14th birthday and was not sure if he wanted to be a builder like his father, so he decided to have ago at fishing and he managed to catch a fish first time. However he failed to catch one when he went fishing again and decided to work on removing the moss. Obi also was 14 and had no hesitation what he wanted to do and went onto scraping away the moss and fixing the huts that had been damaged in the weather.

The vines are cleared

The builders were had almost cut away the vines and was working on the most difficult part of the task. They could see quite a bit of writing on the wall and worked hard at cutting away the vines that still covered part of it. Soon they could see the whole script and one of the scientists, found a translation and was able to make out of what it says it was about the gong that had been hidden in 4 separate places and that it should never be uncovered. Then they noticed that some writing had been added recently and that Tufo had left someone to look after the children, but had gone missing leaving the children home alone. The villagers were please they had found this discovery and knew why the gong had been hidden. Now it was they who were finding the missing 4 parts and would soon have it put together in it rightful place. Some of the villagers thought that since it was so dangerous, how is it that they had found the parts so easy. Who ever hid the parts did not recon on cleaver little villagers with the help of the guiding hand to solve the puzzle of the missing gong pieces. There was only one more piece to find and then the gong would be whole again.

Since the ocean was still clear the farmers did some fishing and Buru found a crab after his use a long knife to hunt it. Tobi also found a crab. Soon the food was available to the villagers 2670.

Algae pollutes the ocean sick

The villagers just managed to get enough fish before they noticed that the ocean was getting polluted with algae the ocean and the farmers could not fish any more. One of the master farmers who had the knowledge about such things said, ‘The only thing that can get rid of the algae is the algae eating fish. However, we are not sure how to find the fish as we don’t have enough knowledge where they are.’
Tobi said, We need to locate these fish as soon as possible if we don’t want it to get any worst and we know the crops are not enough to last though the season until the are ready to harvest.’:8
Then Orla said until we have more knowledge on these fish where they are, we just have to keep the population as it is as with 21 to feed, it should eke out to the next season.
After the meeting the villagers that worked on farming who also had science as their skills want on researching to try and research more on farming and one or two of the farmers kept on watering the fields. The rest who were builders scraped away the moss on the ancient ruins Laurence who by now was a master builder at the age of 18 was disappointed at her mother about not having any more children in the village as she longed for a child. She had to respect her mother's wishes as she was the oldest in the village which means she was an elder. frown until the algae fish is found. Also knew her mother was right and she wanted to make sure that any children she had had a secure upbringing with plenty of food to go round, even though there was plenty of food at the moment had to think of the future. Laurence also knew it was up to the guiding hand whether she was allowed to have a baby and maybe when the problem of clearing the algae is solved, the guiding hand will let her have a baby. So Laurence went back to clearing the moss. So far the builders had scraped away 51%.

The children missed Obi and Pepe as they were good fun to have; now they have become like the adults so boring and not wanting to play any more. In the end even though no more children would be joining them for awhile until Orla’s baby was age 2 there were 8 of them now all brothers and sisters apart from Napuka who was Mucha’s daughter age 10 she liked dancing. Bass was the same age as Mucha. With two down still able to play the tag game, but not much fun without Pepe and Obi and so did not play it as often.

Chapter 26

Orla’s new baby girl was the image of her mom and when she had her 2sd birthday decided to name her Itchi and she soon became poperler with the other children. Itchi had a lot of personality and was just like her mother when she was little. She was curious about everything around the island, so curious that she always got caught out and ended up been ‘It’ in the tag game. This was she never always concentrated who was ‘It’ or that never saw he/she that was ‘It’ sneaking up behind her to tag her and once again was ‘It’ She thought to herself, I always get caught out eek

The scientists all working hard at earning the tech points and the builders still working hard at clearing which was now 73% cleared and tech points needed was another 10000 then was 9000 and progressing. The guiding hand wondered what will come first the gong or the clearing of the ocean. It was neck to neck. Both teams were working hard, the builders and the scientists. However with the items the children were finding, the guiding hand now had the idea what will be solved first and that would be the algae eating-fish would soon be fully researched which now the scientist had now 88888pts and with 2 more items would make it more than enough to buy level 3 of advance farming.

The algae-eating fish is located by the master farmers.
The children found 2 items one common and one rare and that gives the scientist 91232 and was able to get advance technology in farming. The guiding hand pointed one of the farmers which was Balun if the algae was in the lagoon and Balun could locate the algae-eating fish and hunted for it and making sure that the fish was kept alive and would not wiggle away as fish do, carefully calmed it as to hypnotise it by stroking it’s head to calm it and then was able to carry it to the ocean and he put it down into the water and the algae-eating fish swim off and began to eat the algae, but did not think one was enough. The other master farmers also located the algae-eating fish and which were 3 more of them, did the same as Balun taking care to calm the fish as they took them to the ocean. Each farmer had their own method of calming the fish. After catching at least 11 of the algae, soon the fish had eaten and cleared all the algae and from now on these fish would continue to keep the ocean crystal clear. This was a time to celebrate and all the villagers came to the beach to celebrate and even Orla dived into the ocean celebrating. The children celebrating for a short time, then went off to play tag and little Itchi was ‘It’ again as she forgot it was tag time and was caught out again. Itchi thought Oh no, not again. Then Itchi was again in the next game as she did not tag any one in the last, so she was still ‘It’. Itchi was now more determined not to be ‘It’ again the next time it was tag and was going to try and concentrate more on the game in future.

Laurence, Noa, Mucha and Orla have babies.
Laurence was 19 when the ocean was cleared and thought it was time to have a baby and she ask the guiding hand for a suitor and thought that Wabu would be good and she liked Wabu and want indoors as villagers do.

Then Noa who was 25 also had a baby and since the guiding hand had no control of who she was going to mate did not see until it was too late and, it was Nitis she choose and the same again with Mucha who also had a baby. Nitis was the oldest male and all the females tend to go indoors with the oldest male, this is where the guiding hand comes in to try and set some rules for the villagers. This is so that all villagers don’t look the same, unless the guiding hand does not mind all villagers looking alike that is.

Laurence could not wait to show her mother her new baby and Orla was very pleased to see her beautiful grandchild and though the baby was lovely. They both walked together mother and daughter to the beach and stood together, talking and showing their babies the ocean. Later Mucha and Noa joined them on the beach showing the baby the ocean.

More to be done the only things now the villagers needed was to start work on the clothing hut, However as there was not enough research material to work with, needed the tech points towards that and also the builders were still working on scraping away the moss. They already removed 79% of the moss and decided to leave the clothing hut to last and as the population had now reach 25. The next established target the guiding hand had wanted. The villagers did not need another hut until the population reach about 35 and so the builders had not made plans yet. The villagers knew more children would be born in the future and already 4 more babies had been born and the villagers loved to have children to bring up, if they wanted the population to grow and prosper. The tribe will let you know what the ancient place reveals and if and when the find the last part of the gong. grin

Chapter 26

The collectables complete

The children were finding the mushrooms and collectables and the last blue beetle was still deluding them. They kept finding the common one and the uncommon ones and a rare one now and again yet the blue and green spot beetle still not found. Then as 9 year old Guapi past the gong encasement saw something flies past him and it landed right by him he went to check it and saw it was the blue and green spot beetle that had eluded them for months and now the children celebrated that they now completed the beetle collected and with the result of completing all four types of collectable would bring the population to 10. That meant that the village could have a max of 115-117 if born triplets. To show this was one each of each collectable was displayed on the researched hut roof.

Hung was playing tag and it was his 14th birthday, after celebrating his 14th birthday he went to work on construction and soon showed up to be a trainee farmer... Even though the farmers could fish, but as the farmers also were master builders all worked on scraping away the moss. Sometimes the master scientists would work on scraping away the moss. Top was Adept Builder and came to help for a bit and then went back to his researching. Nitis worked on all three jobs first on the ancient place then a spot of fishing when he found a crab then back to researching.

The guiding hand takes action

As the guiding hand looked in saw that the food had dropped below 2000, eek so needed to take action and Put one of the master farmers to farm which was Wabu, even though he was a master builder, someone needed to fish. The guiding hand did want the ancient place clean, but could not afford to have hungry villagers which would slow the production down. Also assigned Tobi to fishing also as he was the villager’s runner and could catch the fish faster. The guiding hand at first thought of teaching Hung to fish, as he had only a building as his skill, then decided not to as, there was no time at the moment to teach someone a new skill as there were enough master farmers and they could find crabs that is worth 55 food, and that Young Hung would be better at the construction of clearing the moss. Maybe Hung could learn to fish at a later time when the ancient place reveals its secrets. After this action was taken, soon the food bin had 2170 food enough to keep the villagers to keep working on the moss inbetween fishing trips.

The children were playing the tag game and Napuka was ‘It’ the one who liked dancing, now age 11. After the tag game came to watch the dig. Napuka saw a mushroom and picked it and took it to the food bin, and then she returned to watch the dig again. The builders had cleared 84% of the moss, yet this job was taking longer than expected as each percentage of the removal of the moss was very massive and large so everyone had a go at taking a turn at scraping it away. When the guiding hand looked in again was still 84%. So decided to leave them to it as one says: Quote “A watched kettle never boils” wink

Chapter 27

Old Friends

At the South shore
Young Seven who was only 9 years old when Orla and Nitis left to find a new place to live and now he was 28 and he had a mate her name was Ulla. With shoulder length black hair. Seven and Ulla were both trainee, doctors Seven told Ulla about a plan and was making plans to go after Orla and Nitis. He had planed to do this for many Isola years, since he was 14, but the elders always advise him against this. Now he was 28 and was ready. His mate had been willing to go with him, Ulla was 22 years old and she was only 6 when they left. Tuna was in her seventies now and was sorry frown that Seven had made his mind up to leave the South shore in searched of Orla and Nitis. They found the piece of map that Nitis and Orla had drawn and left in case any one wanted to find where they where going. Seven along with Ulla find the path that Nitis and Orla had used 23 years ago.

Back at the west shore
The villagers were busy working trying to scrap away the moss which had been cleared by 87%, when one of the children came running up to them which was little Itchi saying, two strange people of fallen down the waterfall. Nitis and Orla came running over and recognised little Seven and Ulla all grown up they were the children of Tuna and Seven and Ulla was the daughter of Ghali and Ashby. She asked them how their parents were and was sad to find out they had died of old age.

laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh happy villagers when they see who they were
The villagers stopped work to celebrate this event and had a feast. Later Ulla and Seven was amazed laugh cool of what they had done to the village and was also admired the gong encasement. Orla told them what had been happening and how they had found the missing pieces of the gong. Seven and Ulla said they were doctors and Orla was please and that since they have been so busy that they had not got fully trained healers. The only healer in the village was Wabu who was a trainee doctor. Ulla did not like running and Orla remembers when little Ulla was 2 years old she would walk everywhere rather than run. Seven always disliked bananas and still did. The guiding hand was pleased with this event and with them been doctors, when anyone was sick could get them healed quickly. The scraping away the moss was slightly delayed after the newcomers had arrived, went back to work after giving them a tour of the island and the huts they could used as sleeping quarters. They both thought was very nice and when they found the villagers had a cooking pot to cook stews was equally pleased and told them that Tobi mostly did the cooking and Seven and Ulla said they could do some stews as they could choose the healthy herbs, but also said as they were only trainee doctors, might have to experiment which herbs were best.

Seven decided to make a stew and after it was cooked the villagers found that the stew could clear the nose and throat. Which was good for healing villagers, Seven knew his herbs. As he was now Adept doctor, he was almost trained when he arrived but needed to know what herbs did what and after a quick study of each herb was satisfied what herb was good for in each remedy, As Ulla was much slower and did not walk very fast was still going round studying the herbs. She had less skill than Seven, but was still a great help to the village been a doctor. In the meantime Seven went on to enjoying the pond. The guiding hand decided to let Ulla keep on studying the herbs until she had become Adept Doctor then if she wanted to have a child, with Seven later. If she got stuck passing the dam, the guiding hand would unstuck her and put her to the herb, but at the moment she had not. Seven did not when he was studying them at the time.

The builder had scraped away 90% from the ancient place and was beginning to see some of the patterns beginning to show. It was looking more and more like an ancient mosaic and it would not be long before the whole of the pattern would show.

Chapter 29

After studying the herbs for awhile Ulla decided to help and scrap away the moss and soon got into it and as her interest grew kept at the job and she found she was improving faster at construction than a doctor.

In the meantime Mucha, Noa and Laurence were still nursing their babies which in a few days would be age 2 and they were trying to think what they were going to name their babies. Laurence had a little boy and gave him the name of Uru Orla had named her son Miki, Noa named her son Olu and Mucha named her daughter Ginger as she had ginger very curly hair.

Chimba who were 15 when her sister was age 2 and they looked like twins as her baby sister was exactly like her, Chimba had 2 skills, science and construction, construction been her main skill, as she was Adept builder. There were now 11 children running round the village. However two of the children were now 13 and would not be long before they were age 14. The children who turned 13 always 14 before the guiding hand can turn round. Noa decided to have another baby after Orla had another which, she found she had improved to become a master parent at the age of 47, Laurence wanted to help with scraping away the moss as she was interested of what it might be and, would think of bringing up a family, after. She loved her son Uru and hoped she would have a baby girl next time.

The ancient place was now near the end as the builders had already scraped away 99% of the moss and were excited at what was been revealed and so all that had some building skill all began to help.

The ancient mosaic is finished

The villagers scraped away the last of the moss and found that it looked like an ancient mosaic that must have had once had an important building, according to the complex beauty.

Now that the job was done Laurence thought she would try and have another baby and of cause with the guiding hand not watching saw her going in doors with eek Oh no Nitis. The guiding hand, made sure she mated with Wabu and then had a baby.

As Pepe was admiring the ancient mosaic and was looking at centre it looked like that one of the totems would fit perfectly and he got hold of Nitis’s totem and placed it in the centre and the totem suddenly jumped aside and Pepe got a fright and he ran away, eek then he told Nitis what had happened to his Totem and Nitis came to investigate and he saw it was the last piece of the gong they had been looking for and told Pepe well done and he took it to the gong encasement and fittered the last piece in place and all of the sudden it sparked in a flashing light. The villagers celebrated and admired the gong of wonder and wondered who would be the first to ring it. It was up to the guiding hand to choose. As Ulla had not yet arrived at the celebrations. The guiding hand waited for her to arrive and by the time she got there. Every one had gone back to their duties. Poor Ulla had been forgotten about in all the excitement... frown

Ulla is chosen to ring the gong of wonder.

The guiding hand choose Ulla to ring the gong of wonder, as it was fair and this time she would be the centre of attention. Ulla was slightly nervous at the prospect of ringing the gong of wonder and at the same time felt it a honour to be the first to ring it. She went up slowly and took a strike with a mallet that was at it side and the gong gave a long vibrating sound. The villagers all come running to observe what the gong had granted or taken.

Chapter 30

Ulla rang the gong and the villagers came running to see what the gong had granted. The gong granted technology. There was an extra 3000 tech points. This would help towards level 3 in science. The scientist had over 50,000pts and they needed 150,000 to level 3 and 160,000 to get level 3 in Exploration now. All the other technologies were fully researched.

The builders were now building a sewing hut which was 50% done. Seven decided to cook another stew and he used one black herb and two others and it turned out a healthy stew and all the villagers all had some. With four 2 year olds that had now joined the other children, little Itchi was not "It" as often now and she was now age 7. Itchi was surprised and please that there was a little girl who just look like her, and even though she was not her little sister. Was Noa’s daughter Unagi. Unagi liked surprises; this was a nice surprise to have a friend that had the same hair face. The only difference Itchi did not like work, she liked hearing drums.

Since more babies had been born and the population was now 31, the builders made plans for a new hut. It took one Isola year to build as when the guiding hand left for a couple of hours and was surprised to find the hut was finished. The builders must have worked very hard on it and also. Three more babies had been born. Now the population was now reached to 34. Orla was now age 50 and Nitis was age 47.

It was time to ring the gong again and the guiding hand chooses 42 year old Balun and this time. (Not keep you in suspense this time). The gong granted health. (Even though the guiding hand had pursed them over night until coming back the next day) the gong was charged up. All the researchers that had lost health though injury, had their health line fully restored, saving to make a stew that fully restores health. The clothing hut was now 60% so maybe the builders will get that finished if the guiding hand leaves them to it. grin

Chapter 31

The clothing hut was ready for the villagers to buy clothes and Orla Who was now 53 and was the first to buy new clothes. Then Nitus followed by the rest of the villagers. They used up all the tech points before realising they had not fully researched science and it would be a long time before they would be able to buy new clothes again. The scientists did not think it was too important to fully research science as they had every thing they wanted, plenty of food, huts to sleep in and lots of fish in the ocean. The scientists knew in time they would fully research science if they wanted to afford to buy clothing for future generations.

Now that Orla and Nitus had found a new home at the West shore and now would be able to raise many children and grandchildren. were now content. Here must leave them now to get on with their lives. smile

The End
