I was thinking that! And I like the kitten/tiger combo

I like'em too. She calls me a tiger, I call her a kitten. Lady Ro wanted an avatar we could share, so bang. That avatar represents the two of us. Sickening, huh?

Well I know for swimming they won't go fish.

In fact, they will usually go fishing even if they dislike swimming. If you drop the villager in the water they will often run away. If left alone, however, they will often voluntarily go fishing. They don't seem to make the connection between swimming and fishing.

For laundry: like: do more often
dislike:rarely does laundry
For running: like: runs just as fast as the kids
dislike:walks just as slow as the elderly
For medicine: like:will succeed in healing more
dislike:will take alot more time to train in healing
For the ocean: like: will fish more often
dislike:will run away when - is put in the ocean
For herbs: like:will succeed more in healing
dislike:will not pick herbs

i know that disklikes can stop some villager from working but do likes help villagers with jobs like if a villager liked fish would that make them get skill in farming better?

I've never seen any measurable difference. When a villager likes fish he or she doesn't seem to be obviously better at fishing. What is sure, though, is that when a villager likes "work" s/he improves faster than the others. Similarly, a villager who dislikes work is difficult to train.
