Can anyone point me in the direction of what puzzle 5 is/involves?

Yeah, me too please....got 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,10,& 11 but can't figure out #5.

I have level 2 Leadership & Nature, the Chief has danced round the fire many times, I still have not completed puzzle 5

I don't want to give it away if completely.. but you're on the right track. if you REALLY have to know PM me.

My Chief will dance around the fire...I still have 6 hours to go til it goes out again. Last time it went out I tried putting him on it but nothing happened.

I have level 2 leadership and level 3 nature, my chief has also done the funky chicken around the fire a number of times. Still hasn't done a thing productive in that regard.

Hint:

Doesn't a chief lead? Even during the funky chicken?

??? My chief won't lead, it just says "Doing a rain dance" or something.

Got the chief...got five other villagers "dancing poorly" and it still just says that the chief is "Doing a rain dance". Does the fire have to be out?

What level tech do you have for your chief?

2 for leadership if that's what you mean

I needed something like 7 villagers I think. Pile a few more on and see if you see white sparkles .

I have 9 villagers doing a rain dance, including the chief, and NOTHING.

What do your chief's stats look like? Maybe he needs to be master or elder level ???

Well he can't be a master b/c he doesn't do work (except he could heal people)--and I don't think he has to be an elder...but I obviously could be wrong. Does the fire have to be out in order for this to work?

I think they get skill points for directing work, even though they don't do any of the heavy labor.

Ughh so frustrating....I will hope that LadyCF sees this thread.

mine was a child chief as well..almost no skill except a little parenting and healing. she and about 10 others or so completed this puzzle..took a couple minutes though..

Okay so just to be clear I am doing this correctly and it's not that I'm missing something--do I make the chief start dancing first and then drag the others onto the fire? Or make the others dance first? Or what?

when i completed this, i had level 2 of everything except building, which was level 3. not sure if it matters or not, but i put my chief on first, then piled the rest on as quickly as i could. i just used all of my other adult villagers.

They will dance for about a minute and then they stop and go back to doing whatever they were doing before. What am I not doing correctly?!?!?!

heidirea I am wondering also if it's a tech. problem...because from what I can gather, we are doing exactly what we're supposed to be doing.

Amelia, I am having the same problem you are, maybe we should pm LadyCFI and ask her to take a look at this thread?

I have level 2 in everything, including the nature faction. My cheif is 9 and has zero skill...the fire has 5 hours left in it...

Any ideas?

I usually add one more person after I see the sparkles. I feel like that tips the scale... but I could be wrong ...

Hold on there, people. Lets work things out logically.

First: Do you each have level 2 leadership?

Second: Are your chiefs all adults?

I've had the same trouble. I put the chief on, he does his funky weather dance then i've added about 10 villagers. They do the dance then they all go about their regular business. I've got level 2 leadership and level 3 nature.

My chief was about as adult as you can get.....64 years old.

My cheif is still a wittle baby child of 11

BTW LadyCFII is looking at this thread now

There is nothing wrong with Puzzle 5. There are tech requirements and skill requirements. It doesn't take a whole lot of peeps, but they have to be the "right" ones.

Might have to wait on the child to grow, *NOT SURE*


To the others: Do you add the villagers immediately with the chief? Also, try grabbing *all* of your villagers. I did & it worked fine.

My chief IS an adult--still didn't work--and also used all of my villagers. Do they all need to be masters or something? I have all level 2 tech except for science...and level 1 in my faction.

Get all level 2 techs (except faction)

Ahhhhhh THANK YOU!!!!! Unfortunately I only have one master farmer so it will be a while but it is so good to get this finally!!!

I just got this one. I put my cheif on first and put all of my adults on, only have 6 others, and it worked for me. Fire was still burning.

Do we need to use all of them each time we want to influence it?

I did it with adepts...one may have been a trainee so I don't beleive you need master farmers only...
