Fish Tycoon is the best game for the Palm OS I've found. I love how there's really no way to rush through the game. Unfortunately, I still haven't found any of the magic fish but I know I'm getting close. Let's share our stats so we can compare progress.

Since my last post, I've found 2 magic fish! I can't believe how excited I got over this... Mabye I need to get a life?
At this point, I'm wondering if there's more than one way to get the magic fish. With so many possible combinations, it might take a long, long time...

There is definitely more than one path to breeding each of the Magic Fish. So far, I have found as many as four different paths to get to a single magic fish, and I've probably only scratched the surface.

I just got this game for the palm OS a few days back.
I found all 7 of the magic fishes.
I spent 240 real hours played and found 204 species.
The way I got it done is by finding the Greenfin Spotanus (magic fish of fertility) by cross breeding spined spotanus with a twin fin spotanus (These fishes can be hatched with the cheap batch of eggs). I just keep breeding this fish and selling it for about $95 each. I saved enough money to buy everything else and hatched a bunch of eggs and bought the unknown chemical and kept adding it and cross breeding other fishes until I got a magic fish.
Give that a try.
Now I don't know what else to do.

I think you're doing fine! That's the nice thing about LDW's real-time games - there are many ways to play them and enjoy them. Some people play it like it's a race to get the magic fish, others enjoy the discovery of each new species, some even play it like an interactive fishie screen saver! The point is to have fun.

I first got hooked on LDW's games with Plant Tycoon, and I've been playing Fish Tycoon over and over for more than 6 months!
