Maybe "LDW" was meant to be an abbreviation for "Last Day of Work"? Not "L D Dou ble U"? I'm not sure though \:\) .

Is poems two syllables (po-ems)?
If it is then it has nine syllables. I think that whoever wrote it had: po-ems a-bout L-D-W, forgetting that W is is three syllables not 1. \:\)
