umm... is this bad?

It's never bad to love to read daily, it exercises your brain. Now if you only read and came to the forums and didn't exercise ever, then it would be bad.

I don't like to read for pleasure.

I'm dyslexic, so reading is a bit of a challenge for me. I do however read quite a few magazines to keep up on spelling etc...

I used to read daily until I discovered Virtual Villagers. Now I read about 3 times a week, mainly the Bible. When I used to read daily I read historicals, biographies, travel, earth science, history, a little bit of poetry, literature, fiction, cooking, non-fiction and mystery. Mystery was my favorite and the author I read most was Agatha Christie.

I tend to go through stages trading off between reading and being on the computer. I tend to be a fast reader, I read all 5 of Jean Auel's Children of the Earth series (Clan of the Cave Bear, Valley of Horses, Mammoth Hunters, Plains of Passage and Shelters of Stone) in a weeks time.

I do love to read though and when I am in a reading mood I tend to spend nearly as much time at the second hand book store as I do reading :P

I don't leave the house without a book in hand. I usually read fantasy (Jordan, McCaffrey, Lackey, Eddings are some of my favorites, but I do love to pull out my Austen novels and reread all of them at least once a year.
