I just started playing a couple of days ago. I upgraded the soil and water to the best and then I decided to buy the best fountain. I bought it (the game say it was bought and the money was deducted) but when I go to the nursery it did not upgrade! What gives?

Are you saying that there is no fountain in your nursery? If there is, what does it look like? I've never had a problem with any of the upgrades in Plant Tycoon.

I had the second fountain - three tier fountain that resembles the icon in the shop. I upgraded to the elaborate fountain and it is still the three tier fountain. It looks exactly like the second fountain...

Do all three fountains in the shop have a checkmark on them?

Yes they do so I can't rebuy it even if I wanted too! And the game took my money too

That's very strange. Have you tried exiting the game and launching it again to see if that changes anything? And, which version of the game are you playing - Palm or PPC?

I am playing the ppc version on an ipaq hx4705. I tried relaunching the game several times. I even soft reset my ipaq. Neither made a difference... I am expecting the fountain to look something like the icon in the shop. Am I correct in thinking this?

I just went to my Plant Tycoon game on my hx4700 and checked out each fountain (buying them, in turn, and then resetting my PPC). The fountains in the nursery don't match the pictures in the shop. The first one has only one tier at the top, the second fountain has two tiers, and the best fountain has all three tiers. You didn't get ripped off! I guess I just never paid that much attention to the mismatch of the pictures before.

I've attached a screenshot of the second fountain, so that you can compare your fountain to this one.

Thank you very much for the clearification. I feel much better that I did not get ripped off. I must have forgotten that the second upgrade only had two tiers. I though the final fountain would be more elaborate and at least resemble the the icon. Thanks for your quick responses! I love this game!
