and im curious because...

its look like a person spy's the tribe..

then he/she try to hide at the cave...

then suddenly he/she get trapped...

then all day.... he/she observing the tribe..

then he/she chilseened what did the tribe do...

juzt like whats the picture said...

at the 1st story.. the tribe has a big problem
that problem is the volcano has erupt..
next... they juzt woked up.. at an island called *Isola*
-they have a chance after all?.. but can they survive?..-

then that person.. observe the tribe that they can really survive and they are very good at farming... so the person in the cave chilseened the tribe juzt like what is the tribe do

and all of my curious is... why that person should hide? at the cave??.. and where did he/she get that food?.. and that food is fresh..

and guyz didnt you all notice??..

there's a person allway's look at the tribe!...

I have seen, there was someone who lived in the cave! He/she seemed to not chiselling what the tribe do because there is not animals or waterfall in VV1!
So I suppose this painting was there before and tell something about the other parts of Isola!!??!!

Tofo appears in VV2 after you have solve a puzzle! As it writen VV1 spoiler if you want to know highlight the following:
it's writen on the wall when you have cleared all the vines. tofo was the guy who took care of the children when the villagers left and who disapeared (end of spoiler)

I saw that the other day. I had never noticed it before.

It may be a history of the island...maybe a prediction of things to come since it seemed to predict some villagers coming over the waterfall.

I recognized the waterfall...though there appears to be three people (two on the side, one on the top) falling down it as opposed to the two which start out VV2. Could that have been how the original lost children got to that side of the island before?

The other part, hmmm... it almost appears that they're going to start taking care of animals or something. Though, I can't figure out what the other person near the top is doing. Looks as though she's throwing something...maybe picking something off from what appears to be plants. The garden, maybe?

Curious....I do hope it's a clue. I would almost bet that we'll get VV3 and think...Duh! That's what was on the cave wall in VV1.

Could someone maybe have PUSHED the two adult villagers down the waterfall and it wasn't the slippery rocks after all????

MY THOUGHTS
in the top left, there seems to be a farmer sewing seeds next to a vine, so he is probly planting a vine. in the bottom a person has pigs and more vines, so i think that there will be pigs and vines in VV3

Umm... that cave drawing was up long before the two villagers who start VV2 ever fell down the waterfall... so it couldn't be that someone pushed them.

More than likely, villagers fell down the waterfall and began the village in TLC. However, the cave paintings are in the cave ABOVE the waterfall, so it must be possible to get back to the original village, or climb up the waterfall.

Good catch, Robert! I remember wondering about that drawing, but didn't put 2+2 together.

That's why I was thinking it was depicting how the original Lost Children (i.e. Tofo and the parents who left the kids behind)came to that part of the island. The third person is in the water as well but he/she is not yet falling over the waterfall.

The only way it could depict the other two villagers would be if it were a prediction, which could possibly happen: recall the dream that one villager had which showed how to solve one of the puzzles in VV1. However, this is more doubtful, especially seeing as there are three villagers in the picture and not simply two.

There must be a way (somewhere) to get back up to the cave anyhow and not only because of the paintings. Recall in VV1 the eyes which peered from behind the boulder and the fresh food found in the cave. Unless there is another hidden exit from the cave which hasn't yet been revealed, the unknown person had to make it back from the second part of the island.

Edit (as this just came to me):

Oh, another thing I found curious was the bowl of fresh berries. The fish I could see, as there was fishing in both VV1 and VV2.

However, there are no berries in VV2, only in VV1. So where did the person who was hiding in the cave get those berries? Could VV3 have a berry bush as well? Or was someone somehow getting food in there?

Anybody else have any ideas?

I always thought that either the fresh berries were from someone sneaking in and getting them from the bush, there was another berry bush somewhere else on the island, or that there was another GC like character who can magically create food.

What about that guard that was mentioned in vv2, who was coming to the island (you know the writing on the vines)

i think the one who "Practices Magic" is the GC

He or she would have to be GC-like in order to move the boulder back and forth (as I can't figure out how they'd sneak in to get the berries from the bush without moving the boulder) or to magically create food. A slightly frightening possibility.

the gong is restores after they leave, so that cannot be the artifact that is restored, and I really doubt they mean the temples restoration in vv1.... practicing magic could be the GC, or both clues could point to another village yet discovered by us

I thought the painting was there before as well, but it told the story of what happen to the people that once lived there, including the secret of the Golden Child and Tofu.

Fan raises an EXCELLENT question!! I have this theory about the rock pile in VV2, give me a minute and I'll post a pic of what part of the rock pile I mean.

Look closely at the rock pile. See how it branches off in two directions? What if it's actually two paths and one of those paths leads to VV3???!!!!

If you look closely at the right side if the gong enclosure (outside of the mouth) it appears that there are some rocks there that lead up, suspiciously like a staircase as well

Ok, well i juss dont get it, eyeshigh said the staircase near the gong enclosure, but i went on the game and i put a girl there, she even stay there, i dont think they would have made vv3 by that if they cant go, but in vv1-2 they could go in the cave to see. Well anyways, maybe one day the villies checked out the enclosures teeth, it had marks, and that could show them where to go, they would have to decode or something. Anyway its juss a guess,

However, I noticed something else in the northwest corner of the village, where the coconut trees are located. Does anyone else think that the tannish colored area right by the coconut trees could be a path leading further inland?

I don't know about that, Houjon. I think that is just a darker shade of sand.


Well, remember that they didn't actually go down the waterfall in VV1? You had to get VV2 to do that, and they didn't do that by leaving VV1, there was just some storyline in between to explain what happened. They probably can't go through the Gong - which did a cutscene when you clicked on it, much like the cave in VV1 - unless there's some sort of door or some magical way of going though the gong. The stair/path is right next to the gong...

ok about the whole, staircase thing, if they went up that "staircase" do you think the would find the remains of Tofo? Possibly an anciet burial ground subsitute? OMG MAYBE WHEN THEY GET TO VV3 THEY FIND THE VILLAGERS THAT LEFT TOFO IN CHARGE!!!!!!!!!

I had a thought about this....
Has no one considered the fact that we have a constantly waterfall fed lagoon with a stream with no obvious outlet? If one of these existed in real life, it would overflow. There must be a place for the water to go.

That's probably more likely. My mind started wandering with all kinds of ideas. I was talking with someone else who just recently started playing the game and she thought maybe but we couldn't tell since we were looking at one of the maps in the Guides section and not the real game. That's the problem with doing this at work.

I hope when they make vv3 they give us more room on the map to..maybe open new areas when we complete a task...I'm bored with the square...give me more room...I am claustrophobic...

if you look at the diving rock you will see a tree sticking out of the waterfall . i think it looks like a eagle/bird , the beck is towards the waterfall .

I've been thinking about new ways to virtual villagers 3. If you look closely, in VV2, right where the shadows of the coconut tree are, it looks like the sand is cracked. Then if you sort of look to your left it look s like a path. Or maybe the path is behind that rock wall at the top of the village.

I think there might be farm animals in VV3 or VV4, after all, there were PIGS in the drawing...

I think someone (Barbara?) from LDW once let slip in the forum that the storyline for VV was mapped out at least to VV3 from the beginning, so it it quite possible.

Maybe the painting is a sort of sign. Maybe someone knew what was going to happen, and they wanted others to know too. They could have went from VV2 to VV1 to tell others what was going to happen, maybe to prevent it from happening. This whole thought worked better in my head, but oh well!
