A native speaker would probably tell you the pronunciation was different, too. I remember learning German, having to learn to hear the differences between sounds that I just wasn't raised to differentiate between.

I always get a villager named Pita

and she fits her name quite well, cuz she NEVER WORKS!

forgot to add Jade, Lapis, and Sage. and Tatoa, of course. however, i dont like Aika and Tatoo. of course, i also dont like Chip. Aika and Chip are okay, but i always rename Tatoo. his name turns to Seven, another name that is okay.

I didn't actually read through all the names posted on here, but I'm sure if I did, any original name I liked would already be posted. But, I renamed all of my villagers to have names of characters from that TV show lost. Love that show.

My absolute favorite is Hakea;she was one of my first Villagers! *sigh* but she died one morning while I was away.*sob*

i like Hakea too, but it is'nt one of my real favs.

I change the name of villagers that dislike learning to Toi after some one I know at work that keeps getting moved from one department to another as she not do as she is told and refuses to lean the easy way.

Seven is one of my fave names and he is always in my stories
