I am not sure how I got it. When I opened my game, there he was! Just keep playing and keep looking when you go back to the game. It doesn't announce his arrival, I just saw him walking when I opened my game.

Hiya! I just got the lemur today, also! (I bought the game from BigFish for Mac.)

I got a pop-up about a 'striped' stranger entering the village. I didn't know what that meant, but then I saw the little lemur running around.

I don't remember doing anything specific before I saw that message and I've been playing about 4 days. It was a Delightful surprise!
